Het National Aquarium Abu Dhabi is het grootste aquarium in het Midden-Oosten en biedt onderdak aan 46.000 dieren verspreid over 10 zones die zich uitstrekken van de tropische wateren van de Stille Oceaan en de zoete wateren van de Amazone tot de bevroren ijskappen van het noordpoolgebied en de grotten van de Middellandse Zee. Het thema met tien zones herbergt meer dan 300 soorten. Het aquarium herbergt meer dan 200 haaien en roggen, die 25 verschillende soorten vertegenwoordigen. Alle dieren zijn verkregen volgens cites-richtlijnen en worden verzorgd door een team van 80 experts op het gebied van zeeleven. De ontwikkeling is gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het eiland Abu Dhabi en grenst aan de naburige vijfsterrenhotels en bevindt zich op een toplocatie voor zowel bewoners als toeristen. Zonder hoogbouw en torens in de directe omgeving, biedt Al Qana een verademing met ononderbroken spectaculaire uitzichten over het water naar de Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque en het nabijgelegen Memorial Park.

- Kinderen onder de 12 jaar worden niet toegelaten tot The National Aquarium, tenzij ze worden vergezeld door een volwassene van 16 jaar of ouder.
- Kinderen moeten ouder zijn dan 1 jaar om deel te nemen aan de activiteit, kinderen jonger dan 3 jaar gratis
- Niet van toepassing op vastberaden mensen en niet van toepassing op zwangere gasten
- Gasten moeten trappen op en af kunnen om toegang te krijgen tot het bootgedeelte
- Alle Tickets zijn niet-restitueerbaar en niet-overdraagbaar, niet voor wederverkoop en worden automatisch ongeldig bij elke waardeoverdracht.
- Als u zich houdt aan de borden voor gezondheid en veiligheid die rond het terrein zijn geplaatst, bent u verzekerd van uw welzijn.
- Gasten moeten te allen tijde gepast gekleed zijn in The National Aquarium - dit omvat het dragen van een top en schoenen. Als gasten kleding dragen die onfatsoenlijk is of op enigerlei wijze aanstoot kan geven, wordt hen geen toegang verleend.
- Het knoeien met een brandalarmsysteem en/of een levensondersteunend systeem is niet toegestaan en zal resulteren in boetes en straffen. De enige transportmiddelen die zijn toegestaan in The National Aquarium zijn rolstoelen en scootmobielen.
- Onnodig lawaai (zoals het gebruik van radiotoestellen en andere elektrische apparatuur), of enig gedrag dat andere gasten kan hinderen of verwarring kan veroorzaken, is in geen enkel deel van The National Aquarium toegestaan.
- Huisdieren of dieren van welke aard dan ook zijn uitdrukkelijk verboden in The National Aquarium
- Roken (inclusief e-sigaretten) is ten strengste verboden binnen en in gebouwen die eigendom zijn van en/of worden beheerd door The National Aquarium.
- Alle items, eigendommen en andere eigendommen die door gasten op het terrein worden gebracht, zijn op eigen risico van de gast en The National Aquarium aanvaardt geen aansprakelijkheid voor verlies of schade aan dergelijke eigendommen.

A fantastic aquarium and big undertaking of preserving sea life from the region and educate about the marine world. It is fantastic what UAE and Abu Dhabi is doing when they want to achieve something. Very nice to spend a few hours there

It was fun exploring these Themed Zones inside Aquarium Journey. It was well organized, neat and maintained well. Kudos to the staff that are super friendly. Nice display in the gift shop where staff helps me choose selected items for souvenirs. It was fun during the tour and I highly recommend it to all my friends.

Amazing experience for kids and adult! Lots of edutainment throughout the different sections of the aquarium
If you’re looking for an adventure in Abu dhabi, highly recommending Clymb both indoor climbing and indoor skydiving. It’s worth the ay for the experience. Staff are very knowledgeable and really knows their stuff which you can learn a lot. Safety is one of their priorities, you will always be secured. The facilities are triple A grade. Thanks to Karlo Magpantay from indoor climbing for helping me a lot as a first timer. Special mention to John from indoor flying! Dude this guy knows how to show you a good time with the activity itself.
