The Efteling is one of my favorite places for a day trip. The atmosphere, music, and attractions are great, the food is good, the staff is friendly, and the shows are magical. If you are in the Netherlands as a resident or on vacation, this is a very strong recommendation to visit.

Beautiful park. Especially for smaller children. The park is set up like a fairy tale. Everything is very lovely and with attention to detail. The wait times in May were very moderate and good. We never had to wait in line for long. Going early is worth it. However, since the park is very large, you cannot see everything in one day. There is an area for small children and a large "children's" one. The price is rather high, but the park really does offer superlatives. The only thing we did not like was 1001 Nights, which was more of a house of horrors than a fairy tale =)

I went to the Efteling with 3 of my friends on Saturday, August 22nd. It was my very first time and I really enjoyed it. The park has a beautiful and clean appearance. The queues were not long, not even for a day during the summer holidays. The theming in the park is very well adjusted to each spot and nicely complements the different attractions. Besides enjoying the park itself, I must say that the interactions I had with the staff really ruined the experience. In the afternoon, my friends and I got a glitter tattoo. And a really big shout out to Jonathan who put that up for me. Jonathan not only got a very good tattoo (which was still there after 1 week!) but also took the time to have a very nice conversation with us. I immediately felt at home and the experience was truly fantastic. I would also like to give a shoutout to the employees who were at Dans Macabre between 9 and 10 pm. The boy who was with the broom at the virtual queue (He scared us, was very good in his "role," but could also have a good conversation) and the boy who was walking around in the queue and opened the door for us, he was also very good in his role, but also joined in with us when we were being "funny" to him. We were also able to speak to him briefly at the little square of the virtual queue and got a photo with him! Unfortunately, we couldn't see what these two boys were called, but they really ruined our day! We will certainly not forget these interactions!

Customer services initially issued us with inaccurate disability passes that were not even in English, resulting in our family being rejected from every ride for five hours and losing half our day. This was only rectified after I complained. We were also removed from a train ride because our disabled pushchair could not be folded and stored under a seat, despite the designated disabled carriage being occupied by non-disabled visitors and other carriages having available seating. No assistance was provided, leaving my autistic child to wait another 25 minutes in a queue after already waiting. Throughout the day, disabled queues were around 1.5 hours, while general queues were 20–40 minutes—far beyond what my children could manage. Staff showed very little understanding or care regarding disability. Overall, this was the worst experience of accessibility and disability discrimination we have encountered at any theme park, in any country.

Adore, wonder and experience intensely with all your senses.

From 10am to 10pm we were all smiling! This is an absolutely brilliant, unexpected, magical place! The staff were wonderful, loads of variety of rides for everyone and a genuinely brilliant day. Be prepared to do a lot of walking but if is absolutely worth it!

Fantastic park but too expensive and too busy in the high season..who waits 45 minutes in line, I prefer not., thinks it is a real shame. Then but in a different period or other consideration.

Pros: Easy travel from the UK. We flew to Eindhoven and took a flixbus. Only about an hour from Eindhoven. The attractions are lovely. 7yr old daughter loved most she was allowed to attend. Food stalls are everywhere - Particularly loved the meatball/ peanut satay sauce stall at T' Gebraad. Very friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Wonder Hotel is on the other side of the Park. On the first day had to drag suitcase all across the park to reach the hotel. Shame that the cloakroom in the entrance had no provision to assist us with the luggage. Strollers are available for €5/day - excellent deal but ours got nicked outside the Gondolleta. Asked staff but was provided no other options. No way to track the stroller. Very few water refill stations. The one which we finally found did not work.

We, my daughter and I, think it's a fantastic park. Because we come from far away we always book an overnight stay. The only and decent flaw we find is the failure of attractions. We have experienced this several times and the last time, 23 and 24 June, there was also a failure of Joris and the Dragon and the Baron. In our view the most beautiful attractions. An additional problem is that the visitors also divide themselves among the remaining attractions; long queues 😔. Too bad, but it won't stop us for another time. And then hope for a little more luck. Because it is and remains a fantastically beautiful park!
