Loved looking at this beautiful piece of architecture- a calm oasis in Barcelona.
Beautiful Palace and architecture. Colorfull, playfull pullars. In the termin of our visit musicians played some organ composition. It was magnificent.
Stunning building. The detail on the walls and ceilings is exquisite. It is stunningly beautiful. Don’t miss the beautiful columns on the balcony n
The Palau de la Musica is a beautiful Gaudi designed building with a rich history. I definitely recommend seeing it. The audio guide is comprehensive, but it was unclear where you were supposed to be for each section. Remember the guide works on YOUR phone, so you will need a phone with an internet connection and your own headphones. Check-in was a little confusing but the staff was very helpful. The pipe organ plays every 15 minutes or so, so grab a seat and listen.
The place was beautiful however the audio did not work and we paid extra to have audio so we didn’t get any history about it which was incredibly disappointing. Don’t think it’s right that we paid for that and we didn’t get it.
I knew it was supposed to be beautiful, but seeing it in person was something else entirely. The colors, the curves, the stained‑glass skylight. It all felt almost unreal, like stepping into a living piece of art. I kept catching myself just staring at the details: the mosaics, the carved figures, the way the light moves through the space. It was stunning in a way that photos don’t prepare you for. Being there made me appreciate how much creativity and craftsmanship went into every inch of the building. It ended up being one of my favorite places I visited. If someone is in Barcelona and wants a place that feels both inspiring and unforgettable, this is it.
The Palau de la Música is a beautiful venue. There is so much visual detail to take in. The auditorium is spectacular. The self-guided tour is okay. You basically are paying to see the beautiful space as you are required to bring your own listening device (earbuds, earphones, etc) if you want to listen to the tour which is provided by a download. In short, you pay for the price of admission into the building. Nothing else is supplied.
Such an interesting and beautiful space! The architecture is amazing. We returned that evening to enjoy a concert, which I highly recommend in this unique space
We arrived at the front entrance and once inside was told “we’re closed go around the to the back”. After going around the corner, we discovered we had to go through a restaurant and ended up back in the same place inside the front doors that we were told we couldn’t access. We were checked in by the same person who rudely told us that they were closed. Very disappointed
I saw it on TV and joined because I admired it. The way to participate was very straightforward, there was nothing wrong with it, and the music hall was amazing. Playing the pipe organ brought tears to my eyes.
