Toa Luau at Waimea Valley was exceptional. Waimea Valley is so beautiful and the waterfall swim was so much fun. The Toa Luau was so much better than expected, the food was delicious, the performances were outstanding.
What an awesome show this was. The MC (Eddie??) was fabulous and the performers were wonderful. Enjoyed the meal, the performances and loved the grounds too. The hike to the waterfall is a MUST DO because along the way you will pass all kinds of beautiful flowers and amazing fauna too.
This luau never fails to supersede expectations. This was my second time going to this same Luau because it was so amazing the first time. The second time was even better! We had an idea of what to expect so we were able to split our time better and participate in more of the activities prior to the luau that immerse you into their culture. They are all always so nice and very entertaining!
A beautiful setting in a botanical garden, great people, a tasty feast, and lively entertainment. I liked how the luau entertainment was organized by culture. They showed Hawaiian and other Polynesian cultures.
They included hands on learning activities; descriptions of history for Hawaii; and several different styles of hula dancing. The only thing I didn't like, and they say it is because of Department of Health, is they are no longer able to do traditional cooking of the meal Polynesian style (in ground cooking).
The entire experience was great. We first walked to the waterfall which was beautiful. Everything about the luau was excellent quality. We learned so much about the Polynesian culture in a fun and entertaining way. The food was excellent and all staff members were kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend carving out time to go to the Toa luau!
From start to finish it was such a pleasant experience. The staff and performers were so hospitable and truly made us feel like Ohana. The food was great and the performance will be one to remember. Mahalo Toa Luau!
This is a wonderful family run luau experience! Unfortunately we missed the pre-luau activities so make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there if you’re coming from Honolulu. Both the show and food were outstanding. Of all the amazing experiences we had in Hawaii my kids (ages 21, 19, 15) ranked this as their top!
This luau experience was incredible! The hike through the valley is stunning with the beautiful waterfall at the end. We learned so much about the Polynesian culture through hands on experiences, delicious food, music and dance. A very heartfelt experience that should be at the top of your list of things to do in Oahu!!
Almost didn’t book but I’m glad I did! So much fun, family owned, fun, informative and interactive. SO much food & SO yummy. Definitely don’t eat before arriving. All of the performers looked like they were having fun laughing and smiling with each other. Definitely recommend supporting this family ran luau. The valley was beautiful but oh so hot. Waterfall was beautiful however I don’t regret not swimming in it. It was very busy and crowded at the falls.
