Begin uw ochtend met een bezoek aan Villa Adriana, een UNESCO-werelderfgoed! De villa, gelegen op ongeveer 30 km van de Eeuwige Stad op de Monti Tiburtini, kan worden bereikt via de oude Romeinse wegen Tiburtina en Prenestina. De Villa van Hadrianus is gebouwd op verzoek van keizer Hadrianus. Het is een monumentaal wooncomplex dat zelfs vandaag de dag nog steeds de weelde en enorme kracht van het oude Rome vertoont. Keizer Hadrianus heeft dit gebied gekozen vanwege het overvloedige water en de beschikbaarheid van vier aquaducten die doorliepen naar Rome. Dit prachtige landgoed staat vol met opvallende paleizen, tempels, bibliotheken, fonteinen en natuurlijk tuinen. U bezoekt de villa alleen - een privégids met licentie die vooraf moet worden aangevraagd tegen een toeslag.
Onze Tivoli Italian Gardens zullen doorgaan als u Tivoli City bereikt! Je maakt een wandeling door deze oude stad! Bewonder tijdens je wandeling de Sibilla-tempel en de Ponte Gregoriano.
(Stop Tivoli) Je volgende stop is een lokaal restaurant waar je kunt genieten van verse smaken van de lokale keuken, waaronder handgemaakte pasta's, verse kazen, vleeswaren en natuurlijk ongelooflijke desserts en Italiaanse koffie. Maaltijden zijn niet bij de prijs inbegrepen. Wij reserveren een tafel voor u in een lokaal Restaurant.
Ga dan verder met je tour naar Villa D'Este Gardens, een ander UNESCO-werelderfgoed! De rust van deze plek zal je fascineren als je de ongelooflijke fonteinen en architectuur van de structuren in de tuinen bewondert. Maak een wandeling door de prachtige tuin en bewonder de majestueuze fonteinen, waaronder de Drakenfontein, de Ovale Fontein, de Romeinse Fontein en de Waterorgelfontein. U bezoekt de villa alleen - een privégids met licentie die vooraf moet worden aangevraagd tegen een toeslag.

Wonderful day trip escape from Rome. Our driver, Stefano, was punctual, courteous, and professional. Made lunch reservation for us at the Sibilla Restaurant with a gorgeous view. Waited for at all 3 locations. Our guide, Catarina, was patience, knowledgeable, and wonderful with my children. They price was a little bit high but definitely worth it for a relaxing and frictionless experience for our family.
Peter was both an excellent driver and an excellent companion/guide for the day. Kind, funny, smart, tons of knowledge about everything we saw. We’re so glad he took us to Tivoli and we’d recommend this tour to anyone. It was so much easier to have a driver. Truly an unforgettable day.
We booked a tour of Tivoli and it was terrific. Our driver, Stefano, was great! He knows about Rome and Tivoli and was a great guide on the way to Tivoli and back to central Rome. He was on time and polite but his tour guide level knowledge of Rome and the surrounding areas really made it a great trip. He also took us to the airport and was again on time and polite and a wonderful conversationalist. Best Rome Driver is not cheap but they aren't the most expensive either and well worth it for us. They also got us a wonderful guide to Tivoli, Catarina. She was born there and knows the place intimately. Really made a huge difference in our enjoyment of both the Villa Adriana and the VIlla D'Este. She customized our tour to our interests and spoke excellent English. Recommend both Stefano and Catarina highly.
Great driver who was knowledgeable about the area. She was extremely courteous and helpful. The guide which we arranged through the agency was excellent. The suggested restaurant was very food with a fabulous view of an ancient temple. The two villas we visited, one ancient Roman and the other 16th century were amazing. A well worth day trip from Rome.
Alessandro was an excellent tour guide and took good care my husband and I. He arrive at our hotel early. The Mercedes van was clean, bottled water was provided and Alessandro was a safe driver. We had a great time at Hadrian’s Villa and Tivoli Fountains and Gardens. Alessandro secured the best seat for us at a lovely restaurant for lunch. He also brought us for Gelato before heading back to our hotel. He speaks English and is fun to chat with and comfortable to be with. We highly recommend this private tour and Alessandro was a delight to spend time with.

So helpful with recommendations on what to see and explained the history behind. Lunch recommendation? Was sensational! She was extremely friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable! Would absolutely recommend her for any tour as your driver! Visited the amazing, beautiful Villa D’Este gardens and Villa Adriana! Highly recommended! Lunch was in Adriana - Sabilla Restaurante! This was a perfect day. Stefano was so accommodating and nice. We loved the villas and the restaurant he recommended and reserved for us in Tivoli. A very enjoyable tour.
Excellent driver Great great recommendation for lunch
Our driver, Giuliano, was a safe and efficient driver, very pleasant, and gave us excellent advice as he transported us to Hadrian's Villa, and Tivoli Gardens. He was 100% on time and gave us good instructions for the day. A tour and and tickets were not included, as plainly specified, so buy your tickets online for admission.
