Op het laatst overgebleven schip van de White Star Line-maatschappij hoort u over het fascinerende leven van dit schip, waaronder het vervoer van passagiers naar de Titanic. Tijdens deze tour gaan we niet het schip op.
Bewonder de omvang van het Thompson Dry Dock als het grootste dok ter wereld toen het werd gebouwd. De Titanic werd hier uitgerust voordat hij naar Southampton voer. We passeren ook HMS Caroline en lopen langs het Maritime Mile-pad langs de rivier met een prachtig uitzicht op Belfast Lough
We stoppen bij deze twee iconische gele kraanvogels - het symbool van Belfast en een geweldige selfieplek om herinneringen aan je reis naar Belfast te creëren
Dit prachtige gemeenschapsplein herbergt de verbazingwekkende Narnia Sculpture Trail met bronzen modellen van alle favoriete personages gemaakt door CS Lewis, waaronder een enorme Aslan. We stoppen voor een drankje bij het bezoekerscentrum en leren over het erfgoed van het gebied, aangezien Belfast een industriële wereldleider was.
We fietsen langs de mooie verkeersvrije paden langs de rivier in Oost-Belfast, ontspannend en één met de natuur.
De Victoriaanse baden zijn onlangs op zorgvuldige wijze gerenoveerd en we bezoeken de erfgoedzone die een geweldig verhaal vertelt over de gemeenschappen in Oost-Belfast die hier woonden en werkten op de scheepswerven en andere grote werken in de stad. Maak kennis met de gemeenschap die Titanic heeft gebouwd.
Dit hoogwaardige hotel is gevestigd in het oude kantoor van Harland en Wolff en beschikt over een erfgoedzone die we zullen bezoeken. We bezoeken de kantoren van Harland, Wolff en Lord Pirrie en krijgen de tekenkantoren te zien waar de schepen van Harland en Wolff zijn ontworpen. De rondleidingen eindigen hier, zodat u kunt blijven voor een kopje koffie of een drankje in deze prachtige omgeving.

Steven was a great guide for our group of 4 on bikes. We learned so much about Belfast. He’s very knowledgeable. Only wish we had lunch at a local pub, not the fancy hotel.
Hi Seri - Was a great pleasure to guide you and your colleagues by Bike around Belfast. Shame about the only ever review I've had not to give 5 stars. The choices for lunch venue were decided with your colleague before the trip with a pub offered but due to your limited time available due to the cruise timings we agreed to chose the Titanic Hotel. Steven brought good bikes to navigate the safe roads on a mostly traffic free route. He took us from the modest origins of Belfast to the proud ship building industry and the current state of present history. Templemore Baths and the Titanic slipway are just two of many highlights. This tour is not to be missed. Steven brings thorough knowledge of Belfast and the complex history to the tour, but most of all good companionship. We were enriched in so many ways. Highly recommended.
We had a great morning with Steven around the Titanic area and East Belfast. Steven was really knowledgeable about the area having grown up there. We felt safe on the bikes with his guidance despite not being regular cyclists. A great thing to do with friends or family. Highly recommend!

I’ve never done a cycling tour before, and haven’t really cycled in 5 years. I didn’t know what to expect. But it’s a really interesting a fun activity. You ride while learning about The rich history of the shipyards and east belfast which was excellently explained to us by Steven. Definitely something I’ll do again in future.

A sunny days ride, packed with laughter and information with Steven. We chose this tour to take in the docks & history and Steven’s knowledge about the history and area shines through his passion for local heritage & the people that shaped it. His tour brings to life the evolution of the Titanic dockland area from industrial powerhouse through the barren 70s to the thriving regeneration example of today. Steven is a great guide and you’ll not be disappointed!
We learnt so much about Belfast and its history on this fabulous bike tour with Steven, our very knowledgeable local guide. The actual cycling was fun too as the bikes were well maintained and the route largely traffic free. This was an absolutely top class experience and great value for money as it was by far the best tour that we did during our 3 days in Belfast

A very informative and interesting East Side bike tour with a friendly local who really knew his stuff and spoke clearly. The history of the shipyard/Titanic was particularly fascinating and a great alternative to the crowds at the Titanic museum. We learned so much! It was a cold wet day but still enjoyable, ending with a superb lunch at the Titanic Hotel. Highly recommend!

Friendly and knowledgeable guide. Good bikes. Nice easy pace. A great way to learn about this lovely city.. I felt we were in in the hands of a professional tour guide who was keen to share his local knowledge with us.
