Ontdek de vulkanische landschappen van het Timanfaya National Park tijdens deze excursie van een halve dag, die ons door het zuidelijke deel van Lanzarote voert. We bezoeken het Timanfaya National Park, we zullen de hitte van de aarde voelen bij het uitvoeren van geothermische demonstraties op het eilandje Hilario. We doen de Route of the Volcanoes in onze eigen minibus. Je kunt op een kameel rijden (optioneel). En aan de kust van Timanfaya zijn er twee fotostops: een op de kliffen van Los Hervideros en een andere op de El Golfo-vulkaan met zijn groene lagune. Probeer ten slotte de Malvasia-wijn bij La Geria. - We bezochten het Timanfaya National Park, het eilandje Hilario, de route van de vulkanen, Echadero de Camellos, Los Hervideros, El Golfo, La Geria. - Excursie in één taal en maximaal 25 personen. In Timanfaya National Park zullen we met drie demonstraties de hoge temperaturen waarderen die nog steeds op ondiepe diepte worden geregistreerd vanwege de geothermische afwijkingen van het gebied. Je kunt zien hoe de hitte van de aarde wordt gebruikt om te koken en genieten van vrije tijd om een kopje koffie te drinken of te genieten van het uitzicht vanuit de ramen van El Diablo Restaurant, ontworpen door César Manrique.
We zullen de Route of the Volcanoes maken, een panoramische tour door het meest beschermde gebied van het nationale park. Deze plaats kan alleen worden bezocht per minibus of bus, auto's zijn niet toegestaan. Het is niet toegestaan om uit het voertuig te stappen, maar we zullen stoppen om foto's te maken vanuit het voertuig. Deze panoramische tour duurt ongeveer 30 minuten.
Castor of Camels. Stop gedurende 30 minuten om de typische kameelrit te maken. De kameelrit is optioneel en de betaling is direct.
De plas van de Clicos, ook wel Lago Verde genoemd, is een lagune van groen-turquoise wateren gevormd door filtratie van de zee, die zich bevindt in El Golfo, een hydro-magmatische vulkaan die door de zee is geërodeerd waardoor het de vorm heeft van een Romeins theater . Bij de vulkaan is er een klein stadje van maritieme oorsprong waar de tijd stilstaat. Zonder twijfel de beste plek op het eiland om van de zonsondergang te genieten.
Panoramische tour langs de kust van Timanfaya, met waardering voor de Salinas en het strand van Janubio.
Stop in het wijngebied waar de gids uitlegt waarom de wijnstokken in gaten zijn geplant. Je kunt Malvasía-wijn proeven.
Los Hervideros bevinden zich aan de kust van het Nationaal Park Timanfaya, het zijn kliffen waar de zee sterk botst en een visueel spektakel van grote schoonheid creëert. U kunt een wandeling maken, foto's maken of gewoon genieten van het gekoer van de zee. De duur van het bezoek is ongeveer 20 minuten.

Timafaya evening trip £110 each definitely not worth the money and the food in the restaurant was not very good well that’s my opinion, but looking round there was a lot of food left

This is true history and culture. Special scenery and interesting facts. We drove here following a well signed route. You cant access any further up unless you pay at the gate. The ticket give you access up to the top where you are guided where to park, a ride on a coach around the volcano and then to see areas around too (without giving too much away!) We ate in the restaurant (theres a cafe on site too) and the food was really tasty! a bit on the pricey side but really enjoyed the ambiance and views. The coach is a hairy experience! but these drivers are so used to it. Theres a voice over in Spanish, English and German explaining the sites and giving information.
We booked this tour on a cruise ship and it was one of the best tours we ever had, especially camel ride! Enjoyed it very much and highly recommend!!!
A wonderful experience. Our guide, Nick, provided us with a great adventure. He is extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. He gave us important safety advice along the way, which is very useful in this volcanic area. He has a deep interest in Lanzarote and its volcanoes which he shared with us. Bus was very comfortable. Driver was superb.
Great trip.Picked up promptly.The guide was very good and spoke several languages.Only downside he dropped us at a cafe on the way and said it was the only toilet stop of the day.We stopped and the owner was charging €1 each to use the toilet ,very disappointing.On the way back he dropped us there again but you could wee for free if you bought food or drink😡😡Camel rides were good,felt a bit sorry for them in the heat but supposed they’re used to it!The demonstrations at the top of the volcano were very interesting.A bit scary driving on the top roads as they were very narrow and steep.We booked with an independent company as it was €30 cheaper than with TUI .All in all a good day out .
Great trip, well organised and fantastic views. Early morning start for a good reason.. to avoid the queues. Tour guide was so informative and lovely. Camel ride is a must!

We did the Timanfaya Volcano and Montanas del Fuego excursion today. It was incredible! Yu was a fabulous guide; she did such a great job explaining everything and keeping up with all of us. She was super enthusiastic about all the sites we visited. The national park is beautiful and other-worldly. We learned so much! Highly recommend this tour!
