Dit meeslepende avontuur neemt je mee naar de historische en natuurlijke wonderen van een van 's werelds grootste stedelijke regenwouden. Terug in de tijd: Verken de overblijfselen van de rijke geschiedenis van Brazilië terwijl je het historische circuit doorkruist, waar koffieplantages en veeteelt ooit floreerden. Bewonder de bewaard gebleven ruïnes en oude gebouwen die het verhaal vertellen van een vervlogen tijdperk. Natuurspeeltuin: Dompel jezelf onder in de adembenemende schoonheid van watervallen, verborgen grotten en levendige flora en fauna. Iedereen die Rio de Janeiro bezoekt, kan niet anders dan betoverd worden door de schoonheid van het Tijuca National Park. Deze eenheid voor milieubehoud heeft immers een oppervlakte van 39,58 km², beslaat verschillende regio's van de stad en creëert een enorm groen gebied dat een echt toevluchtsoord is voor diegenen die snel de stad willen verlaten en in contact willen komen met de ongerepte natuur.
Grootste waterval van de tour met 35 meter hoog, de wandeling brengt je naar deze waterval aan het begin of op het allerlaatste, afhankelijk van de conditie en de kenmerken van de groep. De Tour zou je ook naar minstens 2 andere waterval brengen waar je een verfrissend bad kunt nemen en goed kunt uitrusten. afhankelijk van de gemiddelde snelheid van de groep kunnen we tussen de 15 en 30 minuten aan elke waterval besteden.

We had an amazing tour around Tijuka National Park with Thomas yesterday! His energy and passion were infectious, and he brought so much knowledge about the park’s wildlife, history, and hidden gems. Every stop felt engaging, and he made the experience both fun and informative. Highly recommend Thomas for anyone wanting an unforgettable adventure in Tijuka!
Thomas is an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable and passionate. He was careful to make sure we arrived and departed safely. He showed us where to go with our Uber driver. He contacted us ahead of time to make sure we knew where we were going. He is great about adapting the hike to the fitness and interests of the participants. I highly recommend. The tour with Thomas was one of the highlights of our trip to Rio de Janeiro.
This tour with was absolutely incredible. The trail through the park was both interesting and beautiful. Our guide, Thomas was so knowledgeable, not only about the park and the wildlife within it, but also about Brazil as a whole. He answered all of our questions, helped us through the more ‘adventurous’ aspects of the trail (that we opted to take), and ensured our safety, whilst sharing knowledge, insights and jokes the entire time. If we were in Rio for longer we would have booked more tours with him, but we are super glad we booked this one.
Thomas is a great guide passionate about flora and fauna but also about the history of this park. He showed us around the park off the beaten track so we could enjoy the park quietly. It is very available when we have questions about certain species which is a real plus! We really loved this experience with Thomas, who always smiles and fishes! Thank you very much 🙂
I highly recommend! We did the tour on the first day of our trip, it was very good because we were able to ask him many questions about river and he guided us in the city. Thomas is very warm and fun, he told us many interesting facts about the flora and fauna of the Atlantic Mata and about the history of the place. Touring the park da Tijuca is beautiful, I especially loved the cave (Thomas takes some great pictures 🫡🙌)

Thomas is a great tour guide! He helped us get to the check point and assured us we were in the right spot! He took us in a challenging route, which kept the adventure fun!! Amazing experience with Thomas! An extremely experienced, prepared and attentive guide. The tour was really special: along the trail, he taught us about the plants and animals of the forest, making everything even more interesting. In addition to being a delicious walk in the middle of nature, we learned a lot. And, of course, the waterfalls and caves were a spectacle apart!
