Doe mee aan deze dagtour naar Krabi's meest opmerkelijke jungle-attracties, Wat Tahm Suea (de Tiger Cave Temple) en Sra Morakot (de Emerald Pool). Dit exotische maar rustgevende avontuur begint met een verfrissende duik in de Emerald Pool, een zoetwaterzwembad in het natuurreservaat Khao Phra Bang Khram. Ga dan naar de Tiger Cave-tempel, passend gezalfd voor de rotsconstructie in de buurt die de voet van een tijger bereikt.

U kunt ontspannen in een van de vele natuurlijke holtes in de kreek en kijken hoe het water zachtjes in de koele poelen stroomt. Daarnaast zijn er veel uitgeholde 'badkuipen' veroorzaakt door het stromende water van de thermale bronnen.
De Emerald Pool, ook wel Sa Morakot genoemd, is een natuurlijke turkooisblauwe vijver met zoet water uit natuurlijke beekjes langs de heuvels. Gelegen in de provincie Krabi in Thailand, is het een van de beste excursies in de regio. Midden in een mystieke jungle kun je twee kristalheldere meren ontdekken, de pittoreske Emerald Pool en de Blue Pool. Tijdens een korte wandeling door het bos heb je de mogelijkheid om een intact ecosysteem te verkennen.
Behalve dat het de locatie is van een meditatiecentrum, is het ook een plaats van archeologisch en historisch belang. Bij opgravingen zijn stenen werktuigen, aardewerkresten en de mal voor het maken van Boeddha-voetafdrukken gevonden. Tiger Cave-tempel, ook bekend als Wat Tham Sua, ligt in de buurt van Krabi Town in het zuiden van Thailand.

Me and my partner enjoyed this tour. We were a bit skeptical as the tour didn't have any reviews, but it was the only one available as we decided to go on this tour at 11 pm the night before so our options were slim. We don't regret it. It was super fun. The hot spring and tiger cave temple was our favorite. The hot spring was so lovely and relaxing. There are different "pools" with different warmth/ coldness to them. We were also one of the first people here, so it was quiet for a while. Loved it. Emerald pool was nice to swim in, super crowded tho. Blue pool is overrated, we thought that it was not worth the walk in the humid and hot weather. After Emerald pool we went to the tiger cave temple. My partner and I came prepared. After we swam in the emerald pool we changed into dry clothing. Light pants and a T-shirt, as well as socks and shoes. This was because we had read the night before that people with sandals struggled. We really recommend bringing good shoes as I believe this was the reason I made it to the top. The climb was challenging and we saw a lot of give up and turn around. I felt that after we got over 600 steps and halfway there was no way we were turning back. You will sweat a lot so bring a lot of water. There was water on the top, thank God, because we didn't bring enough (only 1,5 small bottles). We also did smaller intervals, instead of doing a lot of steps and taking huge breaks we took maybe 10-20 steps and had shorter breaks. We used about 45-50 minutes up. I did not regret doing this. It was hard, but really fun to think about after. Also, all stair climbing for the rest of the trip felt super easy. Our guide was super patient and waited even though we used more time than we were given. We were several people in our little group going up and we were all done around the same time so if they left us, they would've left 80% of the group. The only thing that could be better is the pick-up. We were picked up by a big bus, thinking this was our ride for the day. Not correct, it was just the ride from the hotel and to the meeting point by Ao Nang Beach. We felt a little silly as we were the last ones on and we could've walked to the spot they dropped us off. Only 10-15 minute walk... So logistics here aren't that great on that one. It also seemed a bit unorganized at first, as the meeting point is for several tours and you needed to find your "person". After this, everything went smooth.
