An amazing experience at Stellarium Observatorio y Planetario! The visit was very interesting and educational, and the explanations were excellent and easy to follow. We learned so much about astronomy and had the opportunity to discover the incredible night sky of Arequipa. A special thank you to our guide, Gabriel, who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about astronomy. He made the experience even more enjoyable and engaging. I highly recommend visiting Stellarium, especially if you are interested in astronomy or simply want to experience something different during your stay in Arequipa. An amazing experience that I would absolutely recommend. We went at 7:30pm, which meant that we had the chance that we could still see Venus. Our guide Gabriel explained the different phenomena very clearly, and always helped us identifying them in the telescope. Plus, since the observatory is right in the historic center and the visit is only an hour, we didn't have to plan much travel time to fit this in our day.

Then you go up to the telescopes, but the guide's English was bad. Translate is just open and the shapes with the stars he just finds with the mobile. Then at the end you can scan a QR code for professional photos and it turns out that there are only photos of September that are given to everyone like this. A scam, then. In addition, they also try to bribe people who have posted bad reviews.
