Ga mee met de graaf van Thomond voor een glorieus banket in dit majestueuze 15e-eeuwse Bunratty Castle. The Butler verwelkomt gasten, proosten op een tijdperk van grote Ierse smaak met uitstekend eten, goede wijn en honing mede. Een kilted piper speelt een deuntje van welkom als je de ophaalbrug oversteekt naar de 'Bite of Friendship' aangeboden door een gastvrouw. Geniet in de Grote Zaal, schitterend met wandtapijten, van een beker Mede terwijl je je mengt met de Dames van het Kasteel. De geschiedenis van het kasteel wordt verteld, gevolgd door een middeleeuws Madrigaal en de kroning van de Earl & Lady, voordat u afdaalt naar de banketzaal, waar bankjes, kaarslicht en eiken tafels de middeleeuwse stijl weerspiegelen. Geniet van een uitgebreid viergangendiner met heerlijke wijnen, terwijl de Ladies zingen voor Irish Harp and Fiddle. De Butler vraagt de goedkeuring van de Heer voor elk gerecht - maar een schurk wordt onthuld en voor de Graaf gebracht om zijn lot onder ogen te zien. Na het diner volgt een selectie van 35 minuten Ierse middeleeuwse muziek. De avond duurt twee en een half uur.

What great fun this tour turned out to be. The cast was superb! We had great fun with the songs, music, singers and overall experience. The food was delicious! I would go to this banquet again.
This experience was really fun for my family. The food was delicious and the castle was beautiful. We went to tour the folk park and castle prior to the banquet (not included).
Every single person took their role seriously and you felt completely immersed. Loved the food the entertainment and of course the castle. Do not hesitate to book this banquet
The food was good the setting was a bit crowded but it made you get to know your neighbors fast. The music was fun the staff were very helpful.

Definitely a great night of fun , good food , wine and entertainment. Loved the authenticity of this 14th century Castle. The overall experience was well worth the price and included access to the early village of Bunratty. The period costumed actors performed throughout our 2 hour banquet and kept us all engaged with lively banter, hillarious interactions with guests and lovely Irish singing and music. The actors also delivered our 4 course meals in a timely manner. Each course was delivered hot and was delicious.
I’ve been to many Renaissance fairs over the years, but this Medieval reenactment was on a completely different level — the most authentic and enjoyable one I’ve ever attended. Truly the highlight of my time here in Ireland. My family and I dressed in full Medieval attire, and not only did we fit right in, we actually got to be part of the show. It was an absolute blast. Even though we arrived about 30 minutes late, the staff went above and beyond. They searched for us after the gates had already closed and still made sure we got inside quickly and comfortably. Their kindness and hospitality made the night even more memorable. If you’re ever in County Clare, I highly recommend the Bunratty Castle Medieval Banquet. It’s an experience you won’t forget.
A wonderful night of food and entertainment, well worth doing if visiting Bunratty Castle and can fit it into your schedule.
We had so much fun at the banquet. Definitely a theatrical and unique experience. We drank mead and wine and had plenty of food. Loved meeting other people visiting Ireland as well. Food was soda bread & soup, vegetables, chicken, dessert and coffee or tea at the end. It wasn’t 5-star food, but decent. The actors, singers, musicians are very talented. One of our favorite parts of our trip.
