Ontdek de geschiedenis van Vittoriosa tijdens een 2,5 uur durende wandeltocht door de maritieme stad op Malta. Bekijk bezienswaardigheden zoals het Inquisitor's Palace (inclusief toegangskaarten), Fort St. Angelo en St. Lawrence Church terwijl u uw gids volgt door de smalle kronkelende straatjes van Collacchio, het oudste deel van de stad, en langs de Vittoriosa Waterfront, die is omzoomd met majestueuze gebouwen.

Ontmoet de gids bij het startpunt - de hoofdingang naast Cafe Riche.
We komen Birgu/Vittoriosa binnen via de hoofdingang (havengebied Couvre).
Het bisschoppelijk paleis is een paleisachtig gebouw in Birgu dat een residentie was van de rooms-katholieke bisschoppen van Malta. We zullen stoppen om dit gebouw te bewonderen terwijl we er meer over leren.

Dit Siculo-Normandische gebouw is een van de oudste gebouwen in Birgu en dateert vermoedelijk uit de 13e eeuw. Tegenwoordig is dit een museum dat open is voor het publiek. Wij betreden het gebouw als het open is.

We zullen een korte pauze houden op het centrale plein van Birgu

Matthew was very informative and was clearly passionate about the history of Malta. This, plus the visit to the Inquisitors Palace really brought the history to life, on all levels. Some of had Maltese heritage and he was interested in that and answered any questions we had. The two and a half hours went very quickly and when not in the Palace, Matthew made sure we were always in shade. A great your and guide.
Mario was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject. There is so much history you could miss as a first time visitor so this tour is highly recommended!

The tour was well paced and full of interesting sites. The tour immerses you in history all the way from the Great Siege to WW2. A thoroughly enjoyable tour and one I would recommend.

This was actually very beautiful and the Inquisitors palace was truly breathtaking!! The harbor with a the ships and boats and the gondola riders was such a sight to see!!! Don’t miss this!
Very good guide , clear and obviously very interested in the history of Malta. Well laid out tour of Birgu , note you don’t walk in all 3 cities just Birgu, doing all 3 in a morning is impossible Birgu is by far the best of all. Final stop point is great four lunch in Birgu square and then the water taxi across to Valetta
When we booked we thought we were actually go to three cities, but this tour is only in Victoriosa, not the two other cities. The name of the tour is somehow misleading. Our guide Aleza was very good.
