Ik ben geboren en getogen hier in Belfast en heb zoveel connecties door mijn ervaring en mijn familie. Ik heb een uitgebreide kennis van de geschiedenis van de stad en wat maakt Belfast mensen zo gastvrij... mezelf inbegrepen! Ik leer graag van mensen en beschouw IT als een ware eer als je mijn tours ervaart.

Ons uitgangspunt waar de Zalm van Kennis plaatselijk bekend staat als de Grote Vis (omdat het een grote vis is!) is gebaseerd op een verhaal van legende en mythe. Haar schubben vertellen het verhaal van Belfast en zijn bevolking maar symboliseren ook de banden met de rivier de Lagan, de scheepsbouw en Belfast Lough. Daaronder stroomt een verborgen rivier...de Farset waaraan de stad haar naam dankt.
Hoor hoe Belfast ver boven zijn gewicht uitsteekt in het tijdperk van de industriële revolutie en handel. Naar zijn plaats als een bijeenkomst voor openbare bijeenkomsten om het nu te gebruiken als een fantastisch amfitheater voor zomermuziek.

I went on a tour with a group of friends in May 2026. Stevie was very informative, entertaining and charismatic. I would highly recommend him for something a little bit different.

Having worked in Belfast for many years I thought I knew the city but this walking tour gave me a whole new found appreciation of the old buildings that stand proud beside the new. Stevie is very informative and extremely knowledgable. His enthusiasm for history makes the city come to life and it was so engaging the time flew past. The best way to explore a city is definitely on foot and going with a tour guide that has such a wealth of knowledge about the people and industry that shaped the city makes this an absolute must for anyone interested in learning about Belfast

Omg! What an amazing tour! Having lived in NI my whole life (half a century) I’ve walked past many of the hidden historical treasures of Belfast ignorant of their significance. Stevie brought humour, passion, and enthusiasm to this tour. His knowledge of the history of this wonderful place is second to none. With personal anecdotal tales, folk lore and history woven seamlessly,it was fabulous. Ancient and recent history is blended as you walk amongst the contemporary wonder of beautiful Belfast. I’d highly recommend this tour guide. He would be amazing for small and large groups alike. He was willing to amend his tour to suit the duration desired and could adapt and respond to any questions posed on the day. We had an excellent tour of Belfast with Stevie! He was highly knowledgeable, engaging and brought the city’s history and culture to life. The tour was informative, well paced and full of interesting local insights along with a few personal stories of his thrown in for good measure. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belfast.
Stevie was a wonderful tour guide. Combining both his extensive historical knowledge of Belfast with his personal story made the tour interesting and engaging. We had walked the area beforehand but saw Belfast with a new appreciation when combined with Stevie’s stories. I highly recommend this tour! We also appreciated the early evening time slot which most tour operators do not have.

Very enjoyable tour with Stevie, very knowledgable with his history of Belfast and those who resided here throughout different historical periods. Just the right amount of time and a very poignant finish at the Titanic memorial at Belfast city hall.
