Thirassia 5 - Uur eBike Tour met Lunch vanuit Santorini

This ebike tour was recommended by friends who had taken it a few years ago, and it was wonderful. George and Yannis were very helpful and accommodating when booking the tour before our trip, so it was easy to book, meet up, get back to Firostefani, where we were staying. George was our guide, and he was great; friendly, knowledgeable, and a great ambassador of Thirasia. We’d not used ebikes before, but after a 5 minute orientation, we were good to go. Some of the hills on the tour are quite long and steep, so the power assist was very nice. The sights along the tour were beautiful. After the tour, we were treated to an awesome lunch of many local foods in a beautiful setting. This was our favorite tour of our trip, and a must for anyone visiting Santorini!

This day of hiking was a fabulous experience on Thirasia! Yannis and his crew offered so much information about the island, we toured a church, and they provided such a delicious lunch before we departed on the boat. I highly recommend them for a day excursion.

This was by far my favorite experience on Thirasia. Yannis and Nicole treated myself and the other guests like old friends. The e bikes were in mint condition, extremely comfortable, easy to operate and safely got us around the island. They can assist any skill level. The views were breathtaking and the information was fascinating. Yannis is a man of the world and so the unscripted words just poured out his brain. No one got tired. The island breezes kept us cool and the meal at the end was deliciously decadent and well thought out. I stayed 4 nights a short walk up the block at Jimmy the Greeks- Zacharahi Studios and also suggest there. Getting to and from Santorini was easy…and fast. It was a retreat from Santorini. The sunsets were more beautiful and the beaches quieter. This is a must do whether you zip over for a day or choose to stay a few nights on more tranquil island. Thank you Yannis and Nicole so much. I will be back and cannot wait for you to meet the rest of my family.

Our experience was incredible. Yannis was so passionate and he gave us a great background of the island and it's history. Along with that, the bikes were in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this activity.

My teenage son and I did the bike tour with Yannis on a sunny, somewhat windy day. The e-bikes made any climbing easy and we were able to cover a lot of ground in the tour time. Yannis knows the island well and is an excellent guide, sharing bits of history, geology, folklore, local stories, etc. lunch at the end was also absolutely delicious. If you like exploring a place’s hidden corners, this tour is one to go when in Santorini.

Excellent experience. The island of Thirasira is lost in time and the tour takes you through the ancient capital full of original cave houses now deserted, old wineries (also now deserted), new wineries, all whilst taking in spectacular views in all directions. Our tour guide Yorgas paced the tour beautifully for our group, and is extremely knowledgeable of the history of the entire area, including its geology and volcanic history. The food and wine at Yannis’ restaurant at the r we me was delicious. This was by far our favourite tour experience and can highly recommend it. The e-bikes provide so much flexibility, and our group of five had a great time together.

Had a beautiful sense of Santorini from past! Fantastic views, a great guide in Yorgos, fantastic views, a solid bike that handled the uphill, downhill and gravel paths really well and an amazing meal at the end! The communication was spot on and all in all, one of the highlights of our trip - especially given the hectic pace in Fira and OIa!

Did the e-bike MTB tour with Yannis and his crew this morning and had to add to the glowing reviews. It is an amazing getaway from the bustle of Santorini to the island of Thirasia, where time has literally stopped. The bikes were new and well maintained and the pace very easy. The tour gives you a history lesson of the entire area and lunch on the way down to the port at Yannis’ converted winery. There, he and his team make an amazing lunch with meats, cheeses, olives, salad and local white wine. I can’t recommend this highly enough. We will be recommending this to everyone.

It was awesome! A great ride to do! I recommend this activity. I am not athletic and our guide adapted and adapted the ride accordingly, so we loved it. It was great to learn a lot about the history of the island and Greece in general is exciting. Go ahead with your eyes closed you won't regret it!
