Auckland wordt regelmatig uitgeroepen tot een van de meest leefbare steden op aarde en deze kleine groep, geleide elektrische fietstour, is ontworpen om precies te laten zien waarom die titel verdiend is. Een groot deel van wat Auckland zo geweldig maakt, zijn de prachtige en verschillende wijken, evenals de uitstekende eet-, drink-, winkel- en culturele ervaringen van wereldklasse die worden aangeboden. Tijdens deze rondleiding kun je rond enkele van de coole wijken van Auckland rijden, die niet altijd op de standaardrondleidingen van Auckland City plaatsvinden - mis ze op eigen risico! Naast het beste wat Auckland te bieden heeft, pelt uw ervaren lokale gids de lagen weg en biedt u een fascinerend inzicht in de geschiedenis en cultuur van de stad. Om het avontuur compleet te maken, bent u verzekerd van een aantal spectaculaire uitzichten die u anders misschien niet zou zien - perfect voor de fotografen onder u. Het gebruik van een glimmende elektrische fiets en een helm is bij de tour inbegrepen. De maximale groepsgrootte is 6.

- Voor uw plezier en veiligheid, groepen zijn klein en persoonlijk - dus een maximum van 6 renners per groep, plus vriendelijke gids
- Minimum leeftijd 14 jaar (tieners van 14-15 jaar oud moeten worden vergezeld door een volwassene).
- Minimale rijder hoogte is 5 voet (152cm).
- Hoewel ervaring met het berijden van een elektrische fiets niet nodig is (we zullen een oriëntatie geven en we zullen een proefrit maken om ervoor te zorgen dat u zich comfortabel voelt voordat we vertrekken), moet u natuurlijk wel op een fiets kunnen fietsen! Als je een tijdje niet hebt gereden, voor je plezier / veiligheid en die van je mederiefhebbers, raden we je ten zeerste aan om thuis te oefenen voordat je naar Auckland gaat. Behalve rijden op onze prachtige fietspaden, zullen we natuurlijk soms op de weg rijden (om bij de goede plaatsen te komen!). Rijden in het verkeer is een dynamische omgeving, dus je moet comfortabel kunnen rijden op de weg om van de rondleiding te genieten. En het vulkanische verleden van Auckland betekent dat er een paar heuvels zijn om op en neer te gaan - de eBikes maken het omhoog gaan gemakkelijk, maar je moet natuurlijk wel bergafwaarts kunnen rijden!
- Gesloten teenschoenen zijn verplicht. Sportkleding niet nodig - vrijetijdskleding is prima, maar kleed je aan de voorwaarden alsjeblieft.
- Gratis opslagruimte voor kleine tassen bij het vertrekpunt van de binnenstad.
- De rondleidingen gaan regen of schitteren - u krijgt gratis een helder en comfortabel regenjack als u er een nodig heeft.
- Onze elektrische fietsen zijn ontworpen met een maximaal draagvermogen van 113 kilo.
- We raden je aan om zonnebrandcrème mee te nemen - de zon in NZ kan erg hard zijn!
- Misschien wilt u een fles water meenemen voor onderweg. Deze berg je op in de tas op je fiets. Er is ook een drinkfontein bij ons vertrekpunt waar u uw waterfles kunt vullen.
- Hoewel we solorijders verwelkomen, vereist deze ervaring een minimum aantal geboekte rijders om door te gaan (2). Als het wordt geannuleerd omdat het minimum niet wordt gehaald, krijg je een andere datum/ervaring aangeboden of een volledige terugbetaling.

What an amazing e-bike tour of Auckland! We loved it! Quality bikes, amazing safe and extensive cycle path network all around Auckland and Eddie was a brilliant guide! He took us up to Mount Eden (volcano) and the views were out of this world! His commentary was great. When we are back in Auckland we would love to do another of his tours, thanks Eddie and thanks also for the comprehensive list of restaurant and cafes recommendations!

Best e-bike tour of our trip! Our guide, Eddie was a wonderful guide; knowledgeable, fun with a friendly calm energy. The e bikes were top quality - very comfy and easy to use. The headsets were a great idea so we could always hear Eddie. Auckland is very bike friendly which makes it easier to travel this way. It is quite hilly so e bikes are the way to go. Great use of your time to do a tour. I highly recommend this tour.

We were on a New Zealand cruise, and pre-booked this bike trip tour. Finding the shop where Power to the Pedal is located was easy. It’s just off the ship as you walk towards the port. It was a fabulous and easy trip. We love these electric bikes. I wish there would’ve been room for us to do the classic longer tour because we loved this. We safely road through the city up to the top of the nearest volcano and down. We would totally do this again and loved Eddie’s comments and touring expertise.

Was a blast, the tour guide Eddie was absolutely hilarious, saw so much of the city I would have never seen. If you have time in Auckland, it is a must do, the bikes were badass and the trails, especially the downhill heading back downtown was amazing, would do the tour again in a heartbeat.

Eddie the owner & guide is a fantastic host and made our trip so much fun! Our group was 5 and several of us were first time riders he gave great instructions and took us on a great tour starting at the harbor that was a buzz of activity as the Gran Prix was sailing that day, then looping around Auckland and back to the pier. Eddie takes photos along the way and sends you a link afterwards at No Added fee! For anyone coming in on a cruise ship you’ll find Power to the Pedal a short 5 minute walk down the pier - so easy! He also points out many great shops and restaurants along the way so you can enjoy Auckland just like a local! This tour will be a favorite I’m sure and it’s a great value too!
