Forza d'Agrò is een stad in de regio Messina met slechts 833 inwoners, maar het is een zeer populaire bestemming voor bezoekers die zich willen bevinden op plaatsen waar de Godfather-film is opgenomen. De meest interessante gebouwen die we binnen vinden, zijn gebouwd tussen de dertiende en zeventiende eeuw. Zodra we aankomen, stoppen we op een adembenemend panoramisch punt, waar we de Ionische kust en de Valle d'Agrò zullen bewonderen, waarna we de gelegenheid hebben om door het dorp te wandelen door de kerk van de Santissima Annunziata te bezoeken, die verschijnt in de film, de Kerk van de Heilige Drie-eenheid tegenover de Arco Durazzesco en het Augustijnenklooster.
Op slechts 30 minuten van Forza d'Agrò zal Savoca de tweede halte zijn. Met 1732 inwoners zal het ons ook een prachtig panorama geven en wandelend zullen we enkele plaatsen bezoeken waar gefilmd is, de belangrijkste, de Vitelli Bar, en dan verder gaan naar de moederkerk van Savoca. Optioneel kunnen we de crypte met de mummies bezoeken, in het kapucijnenklooster.

We halen je direct op bij je hotel, of op de plaats die je tijdens de boeking hebt opgegeven, en we zullen je begeleiden en begeleiden naar de locaties van de tour. My husband and I enjoyed our tour it was a treat to see where the Godfather was filmed, especially since I am a fan of the movie series. Our guide showed us actual clips from the movie as we walked through the town where the filming took place.
Manuel messaged us the day before our excursion to confirm pickup point and time. He arrived punctually and gave us a bottle of water each. He wasn’t very chatty at first but as the trip went on he engaged more. He is very knowledgeable and was very attentive. We visited the famous Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone asked Apollonia's father her hand in marriage, church where they married, and other movie locations. Manuel is a great guide and we would highly recommend him.
Touring the site as well as the beautiful areas along the way. Our tour guide helped us appreciate the entire experience.
This views were pretty but it was overpriced for what we got. We saw 3 sites from the Godfather movie but the guide was not educated on the movie which was disappointing . He was rather quiet and shy which didn't make the day very interesting. Half the day was a slow walking tour and the rest of the day was driving.
The driver was kind and professional, he even accompanied us inside the cities showing us the places where the filming took place. The car was a comfortable and spotless sedan, could not go better... Thank you for this great experience!
The tour of the Godfather is fantastic for lovers of the series, we had a good time from start to finish walking in these villages that are teeming with Sicilian tradition. Being in front of the wedding church and the bar of the meeting with Apollonia was magical. Experience recommended!

We visited these two beautiful villages, Savoca and Forza d’Agrò and we were really excited. The churches and streets of these places are very different from the big cities. Our guide was very kind and met our needs leaving us free time. I highly recommend.
