Beschrijving
We beginnen in Torcello, gesticht door Romeinen die ontsnapten uit Barbarian. Gasten zullen de oude Romeinse wachttoren beklimmen en de oorsprong van de Venetiaanse beschaving ontdekken, vandaag bewaard door slechts een handvol bewoners in een tijdloze en rustige omgeving. De tour gaat vervolgens verder naar Burano, het eiland van vissers en kantwerksters. Hier bezoekt u een traditioneel kantatelier om te zien hoe deze millennial kunst nog steeds met de hand wordt geproduceerd. Na het verkennen van de kleurrijke straten, kunnen gasten ervoor kiezen om te genieten van een 1 uur zeevruchten lunch op het eiland of besteden deze "vrije tijd" winkelen in hun eigen tempo. Uiteindelijk bereiken we Murano, wereldberoemd om zijn glastraditie die teruggaat tot de Romeinse tijd. Tijdens het bezoek aan een glasfabriek ziet u hoe glasmeester buitengewone handgemaakte kristallen stukken maakt! Aan het einde van de tour raden we aan om in Murano te blijven om te winkelen in de "Glass Master street" voor een onafhankelijke verkenning, omdat alle gasten al een 24 uurs ticket voor het openbaar vervoer hebben.

We had a fantastic tour of Torcello, Burano and Murano. We had more than enough time at all three places. The tour had a real local feel. We got to climb the tower at Torcello and see the magnificent views from the bell tower, see a lace master and glass master at work. Our guide, Andrea, was fantastic and very knowledgeable. A definite must do!

Andrea was a wonderful, attentive guide who made the trip fun and informative for me and my teens. He was warm and welcoming and clearly loves his job. We were originally going book a provate boat tour but were so glad we did it this way. The water taxis are amazing and the islands were truly magical.

Yes as I told you, our waterbus has more or less no one on board during the early morning and also there is a really nice aircondition/heating system :) Spend a lot of money for a private taxi boat has really no sense when with the daily tickets we can enjoy a such service like this :) I m really really happy that your children liked my street tour :) I really hope to see you again here in Venice in the next future! Excellent tour of history and experience. Note that you need to purchase your own vaparetto (water bus) ticket and you will purchase your own lunch.

Andreapaolo was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Great local guide with historical details who provided a balance of group time and free time to wander across three of Venice’s islands. He made the visit affordable, interesting and fun.
This tour was an exceptional experience. Andrea was very knowledgeable, personable, humorous, and made everything fun. He definitely enjoys his work and is good at it. He was good at keeping our group together and moving us along in crowded areas. My favorite part was the glass blowing exhibition on the island of Murano but all three islands had their individual charm. Andrea is well known by many of the people that we encountered along the tour which make the tour more pleasurable. I highly recommend taking this tour with him.

AndreaPaulo is the best tour guide, ever! ...and he was very conscious of the needs of my elderly father. If we boarded the vaporetto and sat in disabled seating (away from the group), Andrea endlessly repeated ;-) himself to ensure that we received the same info and content that everyone else did. ...not to mention, his tour covered Torcello, which, to me, is the most important island over Murano and Burano!!
