Ontdek de complexe geschiedenis en wilde schoonheid van Bohemen tijdens een dagtour vanuit Praag. Laat de stad achter je en breng hulde aan slachtoffers van de Tweede Wereldoorlog met een reflecterende stop bij het concentratiekamp Terezín. Ga verder naar de bossen en oude rotsformaties van Boheems Zwitserland Nationaal Park. Proef onderweg de Tsjechische keuken – en bier – en zie waar scènes uit “Narnia” werden gefilmd. Winter-seizoen tours omvatten tijd in feestelijke Dresden. Een all-inclusive koffie en ambachtelijk gebak stoppen bij een uniek café in een prachtige kerkstad Litoměřice maakt deel uit van deze tour met een kleine groep, ontworpen en exclusief gerund door een lokale : Peter Hainz. Je wordt overal in Praag opgehaald door onze moderne minibus met airconditioning. Vergeet niet ons het adres van uw accommodatie door te geven. Terwijl u door de hoofdstad rijdt, hoort u veel fascinerende verhalen over de oude, middeleeuwse en moderne geschiedenis en cultuur van Bohemen.
Wanneer u de locatie passeert, hoort u tot in detail hoe de belangrijkste architect van de Eindoplossing voor het Joodse Vraagstuk werd vermoord door de dappere Tsjechoslowaakse parachutisten.
Ons bezoek aan het concentratiekamp Terezin duurt ongeveer 2 uur, waarbij een erkende gids je door de huiveringwekkende site zal leiden. Je ziet zowel de Gestapo-gevangenis als het Terezin-getto.
Een all-inclusive koffie- en woestijnbezoek aan het mooiste regionale café zal uw humeur opvrolijken na de kampexcursie. De middeleeuwse koninklijke stad Litoměřice ontving José Rizal, de nationale held van de Filipijnen, omdat zijn vriend, prof. Blumenttrit, daar woonde. Rizal-monumenten kunnen optioneel worden bezocht.
Onze tour gaat verder naar het Nationaal Park van Boheems en Saksisch Zwitserland, waar de rest van de dag wordt doorgebracht op twee van de meest populaire locaties: het Narnia-labyrint van Tisá en de Bastei-brug van Saksen. Tussen de twee excursies door zult u genieten van enkele van de beste gastronomie die Bohemen te bieden heeft.
Geniet van een gemakkelijke wandeling door een zandstenen labyrint waar de eerste Narnia grotendeels werd gefilmd. Het is romantisch, buiten, verfrissend, ontspannend en mooi tegelijk!
Na een lunch in het best beoordeelde restaurant van de regio, dat de meerderheid van onze reizigers beschouwt als de beste maaltijd van hun vakantie, kunt u genieten van het schilderachtige hoogtepunt van de tour: de Bastei-brug. Deze site wordt alleen bezocht van februari tot oktober vanwege daglicht en veiligheidsredenen!
Onze wintereditie van de tour (november-januari) omvat een excursie door de stad Dresden. Bewonder de verbazingwekkende architectuur die gespaard is gebleven van de bombardementen in de Tweede Wereldoorlog of die in het recente verleden is gerestaureerd. Dit bezoek is vooral tijdens de advent (december) leuk vanwege de magische sfeer van de unieke kerstmarkten waar de stad bekend om staat.
Keer terug naar Praag vol verbazingwekkende, onvergetelijke herinneringen om ongeveer 19.00 - 20.00 uur. Het delen van deze unieke ervaring in een kleine groep leidt doorgaans tot de ontwikkeling van geweldige vriendschappen. Uiteraard vindt de drop-off plaats bij uw hotel of op een ander gewenst adres in Praag.

The tour is well planned and the food stops are excellent. I really enjoyed the balance of history and nature. Peter was kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable.
Petr was an amazing guide for the Anglo Saxon Switzerland tour. He was extremely knowledgeable. It was a great experience from pick-up to drop off.
Petr was an exceptional guide with an abundance of detailed knowledge. We throughly enjoyed a powerful visit to the concentration camp in the morning, a delicious dessert and beverage stop, walk through Bohemian Switzerland’s Narnia, a large gourmet lunch with drinks, and breathtaking views of Bastei Bridge and park. It was a long day, but Petr had such vast knowledge and a fun spirit that our kids in college and high school enjoyed the day just as much as my husband and I did. Heed his advice to wear sneakers or appropriate shoes. He was very accommodating of our needs including food allergies, picture stops, questions, and tour timing. He was a safe driver with a comfortable and clean van.
Pete picked us up at our hotel door early that morning and took us on amazing journey through some beautiful parts of Czechoslovakia and Germany. The ride was very comfortable. The food was amazing! Pete has a wealth of knowledge of history and is able to share many stories about this area. My daughter and I had a wonderful day and we learned so much. At the end of the day, he dropped us off back at our hotel. It was worth every penny!

Peter is THE BEST guide! Our small group had a truly magical day - he is deeply knowledgeable about the areas we visited, funny, and extremely engaging! Terezin was somber and educational, and the two hikes weren't challenging or taxing and absolutely gorgeous. We stopped at a terrific cafe in the morning and had a delicious late lunch - I unequivocally recommend this trip!

Amazing experience! The tour was very well organized, and our guide was kind, patient, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the day. Terezín was a very emotional place to visit, and Bohemian Switzerland was even more beautiful than I expected. The views were incredible, and the whole day felt well balanced. You have to do this day tour! Pete was amazing and picked us up right on schedule. We didn’t feel rushed for any portion of the trip and Pete was very knowledgeable about all of the areas we went to visit. It is really helpful having a local guide. The coffee and cakes shop was AMAZING and you will have many options to choose from. The lunch was also wonderful with the option of traditional food. The marina filling site was gorgeous and not hard of a hike at all and you have to see the bridge - it is so beautiful in person. Thank you , Pete!
