Geniet van een spannend 4 uur, 56 mijl quad avontuur van Playa DE las Américas naar het prachtige Cañadas del Teide National Park. Beklim 2.400 meter terwijl je diverse landschappen verkent, van weelderige bossen tot maanachtige vulkanische terreinen. Plezier en entertainment gegarandeerd op deze begeleide tour tussen bossen en ongelooflijke landschappen. De route omvat ongeveer 15% off-road tracks en de rest op asfalt, vanwege het hoge niveau van milieubescherming in de gebieden die we zullen bezoeken. Tijdens onze beklimming passeren we de steden Arona en La Escalona en stoppen we in Vilaflor, een charmant stadje waar u een wandeling kunt maken of een drankje kunt drinken voordat u de tour voortzet Eenmaal in het Nationaal Park bereiken we het Boca del Tauce gebied met genoeg tijd om te ontspannen, foto's te maken, frisse lucht in te ademen en te genieten van het ongelooflijke maanlandschap, altijd met het imposante uitzicht op de berg Teide, de hoogste berg van Spanje op 3.760 meter.

Geniet van een 4 uur durende tour van 90 kilometer van Playa Las Americas naar Las Cañadas del Teide, in het hart van het National Park op een hoogte van ongeveer 2.400 meter. Plezier en entertainment zijn gegarandeerd tijdens het rijden door bossen en ongelooflijke landschappen. De route vindt deels op onverharde wegen plaats, ongeveer 15% van de totale route. De rest wordt op asfalt gereden, aangezien de natuur in het grootste gedeelte van het gebied beschermd is. Tijdens de tour rijdt u door de steden Arona, La Escalona en Vilaflor, een charmante stad waar u tijd hebt om te wandelen of u op te frissen voordat u de klim voortzet. Al in het nationale park aangekomen, arriveert u in het gebied Boca del Tauce, waar u genoeg tijd hebt om te ontspannen, foto's te nemen en de frisse lucht van de berg Teide, met een hoogte van 3.760 meter de hoogste berg in Spanje, in te ademen.

The adventure of experiencing part of the island with the quad, guided, was truly great. The Tenerife Quad Team is fantastic. Personally, I would have preferred more off-road sections. Me and my wife both had a good experience and a brilliant day, but damn was it cold. They do tell you to wear long sleeves on the booking info, but I don’t think they elaborate enough, just how cold it would be up in the mountains when you’re moving at speeds on a quad. I was chilly but wasn’t too bad, but my wife and others were clearly struggling with the wet and cold, so I would 100% recommend wrapping up warm - like winter warm, or rent the gloves, thermal jacket etc when you arrive. We were in Tenerife, and the sun was shinning, so I turned up in shorts, tshirt and a hoodie jacket, as that was the warmest clothes I had with me. It was only for the fact I see others start to get changed into warm clothes, that I asked the question with one of the guides who said it gets very cold and recommended us hiring the thermals. I can honestly tell you now that if me and my wife would have gone in the clothes that we were wearing, without hiring the extra thermals, we would have froze and we literally would have had to turn around and drove ourselves back to the start, it was that cold, and wet, as you’re literally in the clouds! Even with the thermals it was absolutely freezing, and others were saying the same. One man was shivering so bad when we got back to base and said he just couldn’t get warm. Personally I don’t think they should rent the clothes and it should be a standard part of the kit included in the price. Especially in the cooler months, like April, when we went. Who takes thermals to Tenerife! Other than that, we had a great time and the guides were absolutely amazing. Very nice and friendly people, and one of them was a brilliant photographer. He took lots of great photos and videos on our phone for us. Would definitely recommend, but wear warm clothes in cooler months. We had mostly clear skies and temperatures in the mid 20’s at sea level.
The staffs were lovely. Had a fun day out. Great quad experience up to the Teide. The views were breathtaking. Was taking 4hrs with short stops along the way. Highly recommended!
