Ontdek de authentieke smaken van Tenerife tijdens deze gastronomische en wijntour van een halve dag. Bezoek een bananenplantage en leer meer over de teelt van de beroemde Canarische banaan, een van de meest iconische producten van het eiland. Geniet van een proeverij van lokale producten alvorens de spectaculaire vulkanische landschappen en wijngaarden van Zuid-Tenerife te verkennen op weg naar de prestigieuze wijnmakerij Lagar de Chasna. Ontdek de wijntraditie van het eiland met een rondleiding en proeverij van Canarische wijnen, gemaakt op vulkanische grond, vergezeld van tapas en lokale specialiteiten, waaronder: Gerimpelde aardappelen met groene en rode mojosaus. Geroosterd brood met almogrote (traditionele Canarische paté) Chorizo toast (traditionele Canarische worst) Kaasplank met geitenkaas Deze excursie op Tenerife is ideaal voor liefhebbers van wijn, gastronomie en lokale cultuur die op zoek zijn naar een authentieke ervaring. Tijdens het bezoek leert u uit eerste hand hoe een van de meest iconische producten van de eilanden, de banaan, wordt verbouwd, evenals andere lokale vruchten. U ontdekt een landbouwmodel dat respectvol is voor het milieu en in harmonie met de natuur. Tot slot genieten we van een heerlijke proeverij van verse producten die op de boerderij zelf zijn verbouwd.
We vervolgen de reis en genieten van het prachtige uitzicht dat de bergweg richting Vilaflor biedt. Daar komen we aan bij het wijnhuis Chasna, waar we kunnen genieten van een wijnproeverij, vergezeld door een heerlijk hapje met typische Canarische producten. Zo kunt u het beste van de keuken van de eilanden proeven. Op deze manier maken we de excursie compleet door te genieten van een unieke sfeer tussen de wijngaarden en traditionele smaken.

The Margarita Banana Plantaion was very interesting and explained well with little tasters.Then on to Chasna Winery with wine tasters and canarian snacks.Well explained again and the drive up to it was a treat.Peyer our guide was excellent indeed.Their was nothing he didn't know and kept us all safe.

This was one of the most interesting tours we have been on. Peter is a superb guide and has a wicked sense of humour. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. It was excellent value for money and I would definitely recommend this trip. The coach was clean,comfortable and modern.

We enjoyed learning about the banana’s as well as all the different types of wines with various snacks.
Juan was very nice and gave us a lot of interesting information. The first wine tasting could have been saved, as the second one is 6 wine tastings - that's completely enough. Great hospitality at the second winery!

We had mostly a really great time during this excursion. Our tour guide was interesting, and very passionate about Tenerife and Canarian products. We visited a banana plantation, which was interesting and a nice experience. The lunch visit to ‘ Bodega Lagar de Chasna’ was excellent, it was beautiful wine, great lunch, and a wonderful experience. The first winery visited ‘ Mencey de Chasna’ was disappointing, it was not interesting and the business owner had a horrible attitude. She did not want the tour group there, it was awkward and not a good experience. Similarly the aloe vera farm at the end is simply a sales pitch and shop, it was not interesting. I would overall recommend this experience however I think the tour company should consider changing some of the businesses visited as not all are enjoyable
A highly recommended excursion through the combi banana plantation, two wineries and aloe vera farm. The food was also delicious. No five points due to the very long bus ride, as the locations are far apart, plus the high traffic volume. The last stop at Aloe Vera Farm could be omitted. Especially noteworthy are the guide Peter, who did a great job and was very entertaining, as well as our bus driver.

The banana farm and second bodega were interesting. We showed up 10 min early to our meeting spot and our tour guide was rude about us being late. If we needed to be at the spot earlier then they should have notified us. He was knowledgeable about the things we saw but the first bodega owner seemed disinterested in us being there and it would have been good to hear from the winery staff more about their wines.
