Het hele dorp, dat de woonlocatie van de mensen van het oude Jeju bewaart, is aangewezen als belangrijk cultureel erfgoed van de folklore. Hoewel het als een soort volksdorp kan worden beschouwd, verschilt het van gewone volksdorpen doordat mensen er tot op de dag van vandaag nog steeds wonen. De dorpsbewoners fungeren als vrijwillige gidsen om bezoekers allerlei informatie te bieden. Het Zaagblad Zelkova en de Japanse Hackberry in het centrum van het dorp zijn de moeite waard om te zien.

Reizigers gaan kijken naar de duikprestaties van Jeju women diver aan het einde van Sunrise peak trail. (Of de voorstelling wel of niet door kan gaan is afhankelijk van het weer op de dag.) Seongsan Ilchulbong=zonsopgangspiek, een UNESCO Wereldnatuurerfgoed en een tufstenen kegelvormige piek. Voordat u aankomt op Seongsan Ilchulbong, krijgen reizigers uitleg over Seongsan Ilchulbong op het Gwangchigi-strand. Trek terwijl je geniet van de grote meesterwerken gebeeldhouwd door golven en wind.
Rijd over de Jongdal-ri Kustweg, een van de mooiste rijcursussen in Jeju.
Het Haenyeo Museum schema loopt alleen op dagen dat de voorstelling wordt afgelast.
De totale lengte van Lava Tube is ongeveer 13,4 km. De hoofdtunnel is 18m breed en 23m hoog. Het is een van de grootste lavabuizen ter wereld. Er zijn veel lavabuizen in de wereld, maar Manjanggul Lava Tube heeft een belangrijke betekenis omdat het duizenden jaren geleden is gevormd en zeer goed bewaard is gebleven.

Despite the morning rain, my tour with guide Fabio went ahead and we ended up having a great day exploring east side of Jeju island. The group has 3 participants so it was very nice and relaxing. We visited all the places on planned itinerary with sequence changed to accommodate changing weather condition. Fabio was a very good tour guide and driver. He explained the itinerary very clearly and allowed plenty time at each location for us to explore. I really appreciate his quiet and calm demeanor and in depth knowledge and explanation. This was one of the most enjoyable tours I have the 3 weeks in South Korea. I highly recommend Fabio’s tour to all visitors staying in Seogwipo in beautiful Jeju island.
I loved this tour for so many reasons, but the biggest reason is Fabio, our wonderful tour guide. Jeju is of course beautiful (and he took us to so many beautiful places!), but what really set apart this tour is that Fabio took us beyond just the scenery. I learned so much about Jeju and its history, as well as its special traditions, from Fabio, and his passion and enthusiasm was infectious. (He also had great restaurant recommendations!) I feel so lucky that I got to see Jeju with Fabio showing the way—and I feel so lucky that I got to meet him too.

The tour was exceptional, filled with the history and culture of Jeju Island. Our guide Mr. Fabio was fabulous. He explained the history so well, with anecdotal incidents that helped us understand how Jeju was shaped to what it is today. An amazing tour. We highly recommend Fabio's tour.
It was a fantastic trip with a nice group and a fabulous guide, Fabio. He showed us wonderful places on the eastern side of Jeju. He is a kind, knowledgeable and funny person who shared many interesting stories about the land along the way. There wasn’t a single dull moment. We had an amazing time on this tour and I learned so much about Jeju history and culture. Fabio designed a thoughtful, educational, and immersive experience. We got to witness haenyeo in action and saw many gorgeous sites across Jeju. I’m very grateful that Fabio led a tour for the Seogwipo area because it was difficult to find one that wasn’t based out of Jeju City. He picked us up promptly from pre-designated areas, communicated with us clearly about when to meet at checkpoints, and dropped everyone off at their hotels/stays. He’s patient and knowledgeable and made this experience an unforgettable one.

Fabio was a perfect tour guide. His communication was excellent giving information before, during and after the tour. He messaged us before the tour to provide details of what we’d be doing and where he would pick us up. His vehicle was super comfortable and had all the modern comforts including heated seats. He added some additional stops as the Cave was closed for renovation. We were able to catch the end of the canola festival flowers and have dome amazing pictures of the bright yellow fields with the cherry blossoms lined roads. He also walked with us up the long trail on top of sunrise peak and took some lovely pictures of us at the summit. As we did the summit walk so quickly he made sure we had the best spot to watch the women divers performance. He sent us a few recommendations for places to eat and the one we settled on was perfect! Fabio made our day really special with all the information and care he gave throughout the tour. We highly recommend booking with him.
Fabio, is such an amazing tour guide. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, generous and most of all compassionate about his job. Our family of 4 have a wonderful experience.
