Pushkar staat bekend als de tempelstad van India. Het Pushkar-meer wordt omringd door 52 ghats, die zijn geschonken en gebouwd door de koningen en koninklijke families van Rajasthan, en meer dan 500 tempels. Tijdens deze tour krijg je de kans om alle 52 ghats rond het heilige meer te bezoeken door naar enkele van de beroemde tempels te lopen. Het Pushkar-meer is omgeven door 52 Ghats (rivieroevers). Elke ghat vertegenwoordigt gemeenschappen, koninklijke families en koningen van Rajasthan. Maak een volledige wandeling rond 52 Ghats en bezoek enkele van de verborgen tempels aan de rand van het Pushkar-meer.
Gau Ghat is ook bekend als Gandhi Ghat. De as van Mahatama Gandhi werd hier in de heilige vijver verspreid.
Het is een van de belangrijke Ghats in het meer. Brahma Ghat staat bekend om Maha Arti. Shri Jayendra Saraswati liet de beroemde tempel van Shankaracharya bouwen bij de ingang van de Ghat.
Varaha Ghat is genoemd naar de zwijnanjer van Lord Vishnu. In 1150 na Christus werd het gereconstrueerd door koning Anaji Chauhan. Hier bevindt zich een paleis van koningin Auhuliya Bai Holkar.
De Varaha-tempel is een van de oude Pushkar-tempels gewijd aan Heer Vishnu. De tempel wordt beschouwd als een van de acht Swayambhu Kshetra van Vishnu De Varaha-tempel werd in de 12e eeuw gebouwd door koning Anaji Chouhan, de grootvader van koning Prithviraj Chauhan, en werd later verwoest door Mughal-heerser Aurangzeb. In de 18e eeuw werd hij opnieuw gereconstrueerd door Raja Sawai Mann Singh 2. De tempel heeft een elegante structuur en is zwaar versierd met waardevolle ornamenten en stenen.
Een van de oudste beroemde religieuze tempels van Pushkar, gelegen nabij Varaha Ghat in het midden van de stad. De oude Rangji-tempel is een 200 jaar oude tempel gewijd aan heer Vishnu. De tempel werd in 1823 in opdracht van een rijke koopman gebouwd Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal uit Hyderabad. De tempel herbergt de idolen van Heer Rangji, idolen van Heer Krishna, Goddammahi, godin Lakshmi en Shri Ramanujacharya, Venu Gopal en Narsingh. De tempel staat bekend om zijn adembenemende Zuid-Indiase architectuur met zijn hoog oprijzende Gopuram

De Koteshwar Mahadev-tempel is zeer beroemd om zijn prachtige architectuur en geschiedenis. Het wordt ook beschouwd als VIP Ghat vanwege VIP-bezoek het hele jaar door
Het is een zeer zeldzame en unieke tempel. Iedereen kan nergens in India kijken. In deze tempel kun je in totaal 108 Shivalingam (tempels) zien.
Dit is de enige tempel in het hele universum gewijd aan Heer Brahma. De tempelstructuur dateert uit de 14e eeuw en is later gedeeltelijk gerenoveerd. De hele tempel is gemaakt van zwart-witte marmeren stenen. De poort met pilaren leidde naar twee kleine tempels van Poortwachters, Heer Indra en Lord Kuber aan de rechter- en linkerkant. De zilveren schildpad zit op de vloer met uitzicht op Sanctorum (Garbhgriha) en verdichtt zich met het idool van Heer Brahma. Het idool van Brahma is voorzien van vier gezichten met de godin Gayatri. Dit Brahma-idool werd in 718 na Christus in Garbhagriha getrotseerd door Adi Shankara. De tempel wordt bestuurd door Sanayasi (monniken).

Deze Ghat werd begin 16e eeuw gebouwd door koning van Amer Raja Mann Singh 1. Later werd het in de 18e eeuw gerenoveerd door Jai Singh. Deze Ghat staat ook bekend als Sunset Point, Raj Ghat.

Manish was a wonderful guide. He always makes sure you're comfortable and happy and he explains everything in a clear and easy to understand manner. He teached us about the religious and spiritual side of Pushkar, about customs and religious rituals. He was really attentive with us, even we had a bit of a cold, me and my husband, he made sure we are comfortable and emulated the pace of the trip after us. Manish is the best guide you can have in Pushkar. He is very professional and explains many interesting things about Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The tour was excellent through the temples and streets of Pushkar, taking us into the culture of India and Pushkar. The tour ends with a visit to the Brahma temple and then with a ritual (if the person wants) in the sacred lake, something I 100% recommend. Simply excellent.
