Cabo San Juan del Guía is een van de beroemdste stranden omdat het een van de mooiste uitzichten binnen het Tayrona PNN heeft, en ook geniet van een strategische positie van waaruit u de rest van het natuurpark kunt bezoeken. Deze tour bestaat uit ecologische wandelingen langs de prachtige stranden en exotische landschappen.

• 07:00 uur We maken een busrit van een uur naar de ingang van de PNN Tayrona, El Zaino.
• We zullen een informatieve institutionele video bekijken met aanbevelingen voor parkzorg. • We beginnen een ecologische wandeling van 2 uur waar we zullen genieten van flora en fauna. • We bezoeken de stranden Cañaveral, Arrecifes, Arenilla en Natural Pool. • Rond 11.30 uur komen we aan op het strand van Cabo San Juan.
• We nemen tussen 3 uur en 30.30 uur vrije tijd om van het strand te genieten, te zwemmen en als je wilt, kun je ook je lunch kopen.
• Om 14.30 uur nemen we de terugreis langs hetzelfde 2 uur durende pad.
• Zodra de wandeling voorbij is, stappen we in ons voertuig en rijden we naar de stad Santa Marta, waar we rond 18.30 uur aankomen.

One of the best thing I have done in Santa Marta. I was worried about the negative reviews and yes they tend to communicate a bit last minute. But in the end, got all infos on WhatsApp the night before the trip. Got picked up at my hotel on time (at 5:45 as my hotel was a bit further away so first on borad). Then picked up people along the way but we were in the park ready to walk at around 7:30-8:00. They take care of all entrance fees and procedure. On that day we had 36 people on the tour with 3 guides (and the bus driver). As soon as we started the hike, the groups naturally splitted around the 3 guides based on the pace Guides tell you a lot about nature, fauna and flora (only one spoke English though). We arrived at Cabo beach at 11 (but lot to see on the walk). Then took a table for lunch at the restaurant and ordered. (not.included but good price and good food). You can leave all your stuff at the table, they watch your belongings and you can enjoy the beach for a good hour before they serve lunch at 12:00. Then another hour of beach after lunch and we make our way back at 2pm. As I was alone and a good hiker, I just did all the way back on my own at my own pace. Everybody was back in the bus by 4pm and I was back at my hotel.just right past 5pm. In summary, super well organized, good guides, amazing hike and the most beautiful beaches I have seen in Colombia

My stay was at the Cabo San Juan Viewpoint again feel the sensation of sleeping in a hammock and listening to the sound of the sea all night is priceless, beautiful place to rest, recharge, connect and / or disconnect. Of the best experiences lived lately.
Excellent experience, the guide Luis super willing to make things easier and that we can enjoy every moment. A crack!! We did the round by boat and that was another very nice experience. Highly recommended
A trip, where you have a beautiful encounter with nature and protected area, ancestral culture and valuation and care of natural resources
A unique, authentic park where you come up against the wildest nature, the sea, native people and perceive you are away from everything and everyone. A park different from the others because here, the encounter with nature gives unique and different emotions. You have to try to understand. Walk 2/3 hours to get to the middle and then immerse yourself in the beautiful waters, eat something typical and then stay overnight or return to the entrance by 5.30 pm, closing time. Highly recommended experience. Entering the park you can do it yourself. Needless to add more... you have to walk, watch and listen!
The hiking trip is short, this is just a small jungle with various of trees, animals etc. Most people go there not for the nature, but for the beach.

I noticed the walk to Cabo San Juan. I can say that the staff has always been available and patient in clarifying all doubts. The guides are very prepared and did not forget to give us every information you would need. I liked the care you have taken with us and our documents. During the tour we have seen monkeys, alligators and several beaches. In addition we find some indigenous peoples. There is the possibility to reserve horse, in the restaurant in Cabo San Juan the things of value were safe and we did very well. Cabo San Juan is a parasitic beach. Super recommend the ride with Living Tours.
Do not book: i receieved no communication from this operator. My messages and phone callls went unanswered. Viator Support provided me with the incorrect pick-up site. The operator claims to communicated with me but provided no evidence. Viator refuses to take responsibility for incorrect information.
Go there yourself via Uber and be taken to the last entrance of the park. The route is established and the ‘guides’ are only there to take you to Cabo. From there if you are tired you can take a boat for 90000 cops (which I absolutely do NOT recommend for the conditions in which they are and for the water that will come to you for the following 50 minutes). You can also go back on horseback or on foot. There was only one particularly good guide who explained everything to you in detail (Juan). If you are not with him, walk independently and enjoy this beauty on your own.
