Tauranga Cruise Tour Rotorua Redwood en Maori Village Experience

Werkend binnen het Cruiseschip schema, zullen we u ontmoeten in de haven van Tauranga en kijken om onze reis te beginnen op een vooraf afgesproken tijd. Als we aan de reis langs de Mount Maunganui Coast beginnen, bezoeken we een Kiwi-boomgaard op weg naar Rotorua. Met officiële stop bij het gerenommeerde Redwood Forest. Het is hier dat u begint aan de canopy tree walk die echt een stap in het paradijs is met Californische Redwoods en enkele van onze lokale fauna. De tweede halte is een van de langstlopende toeristische bestemmingen in de regio. Whakarewarewa beschikt over thermische activiteit, modderpoelen en de grootste geiser op het zuidelijk halfrond. Een rondleiding en culturele voorstelling is inbegrepen en wordt gevolgd door een lichte lunch bereid op traditionele Maori-wijze. Gespecialiseerd in kleine groepsreizen in Mercedes voertuigen of iets dergelijks. Wij bieden versnaperingen en snacks plus Wi-Fi tijdens uw reis met ons. Dit is een gezinsvriendelijke dagtour van ongeveer 6,5 uur.

U krijgt de mogelijkheid om onze prachtige Redwood Trees te verkennen vanuit het bladerdak. Er is tijd voor u om te genieten van de Canopy Treewalk op verhoogd platform en zie ook een deel van de fauna op maaiveldniveau.
Betreed een wereld van traditionalisme en verhalen vertellen. Een van de prachtige gidsen van Whakarewarewa zal u voorzien van hun verhalen en u verwelkomen in een van de langst werkende toeristische bestemmingen in het gebied. Bekijk de grootste Geiser van het zuidelijk halfrond en geniet van een Maori Cultural Performance.
Met een stop bij een Kiwiboomgaard wordt u voorzien van informatie over een van onze grootste industrieën in de Bay of Plenty. Zie kiwi’s groeien aan de wijnstok en ontdek waarom we de beste zijn in wat we doen.

This was a good tour, and we enjoyed it. The Redwoods was a nice experience, and the visit to the Maori (sp?) village was interesting. Our driver/guide Alan was entertaining and informative.
We had a fabulous time. The tour was well organized. We really enjoyed our guide Allen. He was very informative and kept us on schedule.

Driver/guide John knew his stuff. He was courteous and obliging. The guide who took us through the village had great background knowledge of his people and explained how they utilised the geothermal springs in their lifestyle.
This tour was absolutely amazing. The guide met us right outside the cruise ship port exactly when he said. During the drive to the village, our guide kept us entertained informing us of the local area and all sorts of details. At the village, we had a great lunch and we're turned over to a local guide who had been raised in the village. We next visited the geothermal pools and then a walk up in the redwoods. The trip back to the cruise was right on time. Excellent from start to finish.
Alan, our guide for the day, was a hoot. Brimming with humor and information, he kept us amused all day long. There was plenty of variety. We learned about Kiwi fruit cultivation, and stopped to peer at a field of vines and marvel at the huge spruce hedges rimming the fields to literally filter out bugs and diseases. The main stop was Whakarewarewa historic village built on a geothermal field. It is called “the living Maori village”. The introductory cultural show by 7 artists was astonishing. Fraser, who guided us there was about as enthusiastic as anyone can be. We learned all about family life and enjoyed a nice lunch there, too. We finished the day on the Redwood Tree Walk in Rotarua.
Our tour guide made each activity special. He shared information about the history of the area and how it's growth has changed life here. We couldn't ask for a more fun filled day.
Walking up in the redwoods was a great experience. The Māori village was very interesting and unique. Learning about the culture from someone who grew up there was very special. Our driver/guide, Allan, was the best! His wealth of knowledge about every area he took us through was impressive. He taught us about how they grow kiwi fruit, and gave us a wonderful walking tour around the geothermal area. His vibrant personality made this one of the best tours we have been on, both educational and entertaining.
