Je avontuurlijke dag begint om 7:30 uur; we halen je op in Djerba of Zarzis. Onderweg is een fotostop gepland bij het zoutmeer van Sebkhet el Melah, een prachtige plek met steeds veranderende kleuren en unieke landschappen. Je maakt een tussenstop in Tataouine voor een koffiepauze en een bezoek aan de lokale markt . Je ontdekkingstocht begint met een bezoek aan Ksar Ouled Soltane, een prachtige ksar buiten de gebaande paden, waar je de traditionele architectuur en geschiedenis van de regio kunt ontdekken. Daarna bezoekt u het dorp Chenini. Dit eeuwenoude Berberdorp, gelegen op een heuvelrug, gaat harmonieus op in de kleuren van de bergen. De rondleiding door Chenini duurt ongeveer een uur. Na de lunch in Guermassa of Ksar Hadada bezoekt u de Ksar Hadada. Na deze drukke dag rijdt u terug naar Djerba of Zarzis, waar u voor uw accommodatie wordt afgezet.

Dit oude Berberdorp is een opmerkelijke plek en een van de meest bezochte in de regio. Gelegen op een bergkam, gaat het harmonieus over in de kleur van de bergrots. U kunt de in de rotsen gebouwde holbewonerswoningen bewonderen en uzelf onderdompelen in de authentieke sfeer van deze plek vol geschiedenis. De rondleiding door Chenini duurt ongeveer een uur, maar dat heb je ook de mogelijkheid om uw verblijf te verlengen als u dat wenst, om meer te profiteren van deze unieke ervaring.
Een eerste stop bij het zoutmeer Sebkhet el Melah. Je maakt een fotostop bij het Sebkhet el Melah-meer. Dit meer, beroemd om zijn steeds veranderende kleuren, biedt een uniek landschap en is een van de natuurwonderen van de regio.
Begin uw verkenning van de regio met een bezoek aan Ksar Ouled Soltane, een prachtige Berberse collectieve graanschuur, ver weg van de gebaande paden. Deze indrukwekkende plek, vereeuwigd in Rijzende ster Wars, dompelt je onder in de geschiedenis van Berbergemeenschappen.
Ten zuiden van Tataouine breidt Ksar Hadada zijn ghorfas uit, graanschuren met één verdieping. De ronde koepels van de daken, de gewelfde steunberen die ondersteuning van de muren zijn typerend voor de Berberse architectuur. Trappen stellen u in staat om van het ene niveau naar het andere te gaan. Aarzel niet om de terrassen op te gaan om te genieten van het omringende panorama. Deze plaats werd ook gebruikt als decor voor de opnames van de film "Star Wars". Dit versterkte dorp werd in 1997 gebruikt als decor voor de slavenverblijven van Mos Espa, het mythische dorp Anakin Skywalker, de toekomstige Darth Vader, in de Star Wars-film "The Phantom Menace".

Just a great tour with a great guide. We had chosen this tour because the friendliness of the guide stood out so positively in previous reviews. And we were confirmed: after booking we informed the guide directly that we Star Wars fans would like to visit other places on the tour as well. This was confirmed the night before and the kindness radiated towards us the next morning in the form of our driver and at the same time guide when we were picked up at the hotel. Luckily: no one else had booked the tour (English or German) at the same time. After the first laughs together, the first stop at the salt lake, photo tops and the explanations about Tunisia we all felt: this will be a particularly good day together. Every other stop in Tatouine, at the market, a coffee to go for the ride, the excursion to the mountains, the Star Wars stops and stories about the locations from Tunisian history far exceeded our expectations. Our guide Moussa Ben Belgacem was a stroke of luck: very competent, eloquent, friendly and passionate Tunisian, who treated us, the residents or locals of the visiting places very respectfully everywhere. Fantastic guide who also knew great in the mountains. Conclusion: we would book it again: immediately for this tour or other tours, if we had him as a guide and bridge builder between guests and Tunisians. The fact that we had “Little Grogu” with us as a moving doll caused a lot of attention and curiosity at the locations. Everyone wanted to see and experience. It's wonderful. We had an extraordinary excursion. Mahmoud made this trip poetic and rich in historical and cultural details. For 2-wheelers, the quadrant ride from the oasis to the camp is incredible with sunset from the dunes. And thank you to Nourredine for leading us to safe harbour and taking care of us. We leave our heads full of memories that we have not finished talking about.

Booking and payment made a few days in advance on the agency website directly. A communication on Wattsapp messaging to settle the details (time of pickup etc) that is done very well. A very nice day spent with Naceur (driver of the 4x4) and Mahmoud (our guide). Day that starts with a punctual pick-up, directly from our hotel. The 4x4 (Toyota Land Cruiser) was very clean and pleasant to perform the day. An exotic day that meets all that is mentioned in the description. Mahmoud is a good guide, he talks a lot and is very rich culturally. Lunch is in a small restaurant in a very unusual place with a good traditional small meal. We were just my spouse and I, a real plus compared to the group bus tours. This adds more authenticity to the past day. A real plus for the period at the end of March. Very few tourists on the places visited. This allows you to fully enjoy the sites, take the time and make nice photos without a crowd of people on them.
