Er is veel dat uniek is aan deze ervaring. 1. Je eigen privéhost. Je gastheer blijft bij je en introduceert de gerechten en nog veel meer. 2. Het is historisch eten. Al het eten tijdens deze ervaring is afkomstig uit geschiedenisboeken of levende herinneringen. 3. De prijs, 137 euro per persoon, is een goede prijs voor deze ervaring. Als je alle 10 items op het voedselmenu, drankje, privéhost, Ierse taaldemonstratie, voedselgeschiedenis, zeldzame verrassing en zang bij elkaar optelt. Het zou heel moeilijk zijn om dat allemaal in Dublin te vinden. 4 De ervaring is buitengewoon interessant, deze ervaring is het tegenovergestelde van saai! 5 Het eten is geweldig. Ik bedoel, als ik deze eetervaring niet zou organiseren, zou ik dit eten eten. Dit is mijn favoriete restaurant in Dublin en het opende 30 jaar geleden voor het eerst zijn deuren. Dus ik denk dat dit de reden is waarom onze eetervaring uniek is en die je niet mag missen. Tot snel! Frank.

Frank was amazing! Extremely knowledgeable about the Irish history and culture as it relates to food. My wife and I really enjoyed spending our anniversary there today. Thank you for the Prosecco! Looking forward to seeing you in the States!
This was one of the highlights of our visit to Ireland. The food was delicious. The history and the stories associated with the food were fascinating, fun, and endearing. Frank is the master host. I 100% recommend this for your time in Ireland
Authentic Irish Experience with a knowledgeable local guide. We tasted 10 different cuisines paired with drinks/whiskey/beer/cider and finished with amazing Irish coffees and desserts.
Amazing experience for anyone who looks for something really special and totally different to what’s on offer anywhere else. The menu consists of 10 traditional Irish dishes, paired with Irish whiskey, lager and cider. And you also get history of each dish explained by a lovely host. It was a very enjoyable lunch for the whole family and although on Viator you can only book it as for adults we booked it for 2 adults and 2 children and would really recommend for any family as children also enjoyed it ( alcohol can be swapped for any soft drinks). And as for the price - worth every penny as food was exquisite!
I had a food allergy and the host was (with advanced notification) cater to my diet. I was able to try so many new to me foods. It was like dinner and entertainment. Our host regaled us with Irish history and his own family history. He brought some historical objects to share with us. We had a drink pairing with each course. The food was delicious and huge portions even though it was a tasting. I would absolutely do this again. 10 out of 10.
Frank's tasting was absolutely incredible. It was truly a fascinating and delicious experience. He has a gift and passion for Irish food, culture, and history. I'd recommend this experience to anyone looking for something authentic and worthwhile in Dublin.

It is traditional Irish Food from the early 1940s. Frank was very knowledgeable about Irish history and food. He shared Irish songs and showed various coins from Ireland’s history. There was 2 or 3 samples from each course with an alcoholic beverage to complete each course. The food was delicious. I would give it a 10/10.
After touring Ireland for 14 days, we thought we had tasted everything the country had to offer. But to our surprise, "The Traditional Irish Food Experience" proved us wrong. We truly enjoyed fine Irish dining at its' best in a setting that was frozen in time! Frank passionately shared his knowledge and the history of traditional Irish dishes as told to him by his father. My daughter was looking for authentic Irish food, so I booked this food tasting experience and it absolutely hit the mark! This was my daughter's first time in Ireland and my fifth. I have tasted "traditional" Irish food all over the country but this was by far the best food I have had. Frank has a great knowledge of the authentic, traditional foods of Ireland and has great stories of the history of the food. The time went quickly and the food and drink pairings were perfect, but also allowed for flexibility in personal tastes. Both my daughter and myself were thrilled with the food. My daughter kept commenting, as we continued traveling throughout the country, that none of the food quite matched up to the food we had during our tasting with Frank. I highly recommend this unique experience, great food and great "craic", you won't be disappointed!
