Ontdek de culinaire schatten van Tasmanië onder water tijdens een gastronomische viscruise van een hele dag. Zie hoe je deskundige gids duikt naar zee- en zee-egel, en kijk vervolgens naar je maaltijd die direct op de boot wordt bereid, waaronder kreeft, calamari, vers geschepte oesters, zwarte zee-egel en zee-egel. Ontmoet je twee deskundige gidsen en reisgenoten bij Franklin Wharf aan de historische waterkant van Hobart. Laat de stad achter u voor een tocht langs de waterwegen van Hobart. Bewonder een spectaculair landschap terwijl je over de rivier de Derwent naar de beschutte wateren van het D'Entrecasteaux-kanaal rond Bruny Island glijdt. Gedurende de dag deelt uw gids uitgebreide kennis van de regio, gebaseerd op jarenlange ervaring in en rond deze wateren. Vaar naar een afgelegen baai waar je gids in het water springt om op zeeoren en zee-egels te jagen. Kijk hoe je gids de oceaanbounty voorbereidt die ze hebben verzameld. Probeer rotskreeft die op twee manieren is bereid, gekookt en in sashimi-stijl, samen met heerlijke visgerechten die ter plaatse worden bereid. U dineert ook op vers gepelde oesters en zalm. De maaltijd wordt vergezeld door een gastronomische verspreiding van verse lokale broden, salades en ambachtelijke kazen, en gecombineerd met premium wijnen, boetiekbier, ciders en lokaal gemaakte biologische sappen.

Excellent value for the price could not eat all the food. Plentiful quality drinks supplied and all the food prepared as if you were in a chefs kitchen. Nothing was a problem. Jordy and Jordan with their first hand knowledge of the area were great hosts. A Great day.

This day out on the boat was booked for us by our tour agent as part of a longer trip to Australia. It was the highlight of our entire trip. Thomas and Jordan were just incredible hosts, knowledgeable, fun, great sea urchin diver (Thomas), and great cooks. The food just didn’t stop coming, it was very high quality seafood with lots of wine, beer soft drink drinks to wash it down with. All being watched by two sea eagles! I cannot recommend this highly enough.

This tour was the best one I have ever been on. Both tour guides were knowledgeable about Hobart and all of the surrounding areas. The boat was comfortable too. The food couldn’t have been any better. Everything was so fresh and prepared perfectly. This is a must do in Hobart and it is worth every penny!

Seafood boats departing from Hobart in Tasmania with a maximum of twelve passengers and two crew members. 6 hours of the entire trip, packed with unlimited alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, raw and cooked beans, shrimp, seaweed, boo fish, etc. Friends who like to eat seafood are worth a try.

Excellent trip. Not cheap but worth every penny. Seafood is off the scale in freshness and preparation- staff very knowledgeable- lots to drink and a small enough group to make this feel intimate not touristic.

If we could, we'd award 10 points. Today's trip was just bombastic. 9 cheerful tourists, we two Swiss and the two hosts from Tasmania spent a few unforgettable hours together. Everything shown in the picture and many more local specialties were served during the good 6 hours. There were live cooking demonstrations and the sea urchins and abalone fresh from the sea. There were really no culinary wishes left unfulfilled even with the drinks. You almost felt like you were in slack country. If you know that a sea urchin costs 125$ here for almost nothing except an excellent sweet/salty taste, then you don’t have to wonder about the price, which is justified in every respect. What our Kapitai had in addition to diving and cooking, he was able to prove to us on the way back when the wind turned and accompanied us for a good 2 hours a rough wave. It was excellent that our stomachs were well filled, we accepted the swinging without any problems and in a good mood. If you like good food and seafood and also like to be on the water, you should definitely do this tour. Thank you very much 🌞
