Ophaalpunt van Price Wharf naar Tasman Peninsula
Het aangaan van een spectaculair uitzicht op de oceaan en het land. Geniet van thee/koffie op deze prachtige plekken.
Mozaïekbestrating is uiterst zeldzaam. Dit natuurverschijnsel komt alleen op een paar plaatsen op aarde voor waar rotsen in veelhoekige blokken zijn gebroken en er precies uitzien als door de mens gemaakte tegels. De plaats staat ook bekend om de zonsopgang en zonsondergang.
Prachtige zeekliffen zijn uitgehouwen door de oude stenen en de Tasmanzee.
Tasmans Arch is een hoge natuurlijke brug in de zeekliffen van het Tasman-schiereiland, die ook is uitgehouwen door de Tasmanzee. Deze prachtige geologische formatie is een van de vele die bezocht kunnen worden bij Eaglehawk Neck en langs de oostkant van het Tasman-schiereiland. ps: Optioneel voor het uitkijkpunt Waterfall Bay
Lunch of kopje koffie met een prachtige beleving van lavendel. Het is de moeite waard om het ijs en de lavendelproducten hier in de winkel te hebben.
Geniet van het uitzicht vanaf het uitkijkpunt Maignon Bay op de ruige zuidelijke kustlijn voordat u de trap afdaalt naar de spectaculaire Remarkable Cave. Geniet van een wandeling van 15 minuten terug en wees voorbereid op een beetje nat worden!
Genesteld in het hart van het Tasman-schiereiland in Taranna, aan de ruige oostkust van Tasmanië, vindt u de perfecte stop tijdens uw reizen. We had an incredible day on the Tasman Peninsula tour, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our visit to Hobart. The scenery was breathtaking from beginning to end, with dramatic coastal cliffs, and spectacular lookouts. A huge thank you to our guide, Chaboo, who made the experience truly exceptional. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about Tasmania’s history. At every stop, he shared fascinating stories and interesting facts, explaining the significance of each location in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. His passion for the region really shone through and made the tour so much more enjoyable. Chaboo made sure we had enough time to soak in the scenery and take plenty of photos. He was attentive to everyone on the tour, kept the day well organised, and created a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. If you’re visiting Hobart, this is a tour you simply cannot miss. The Tasman Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places in Tasmania. The weather wasn't the greatest on the day of our tour but nobody can control that. Our tour guide, Chaboo, made the most of the bad weather and we all really enjoyed our day checking out some of the scenery in Hobart. Chaboo was very knowledgeable and gave us a good overview of what we were seeing. There were 10 people on the tour and my group accounted for 6 of those. We all got on well.

Did a small guided tour from Hobart and it was a fantastic experience. The group size was small which made it feel relaxed and personal, and our guide Chaboo was incredibly knowledgeable about Tasmania’s history and landscapes. We visited some beautiful spots and never felt rushed. It was a great way to see places around Hobart that you might miss on your own. Highly recommend if you want a more intimate and informative experience

What a wonderful day we had exploring the spectacular Tasman Peninsula on this small group tour. Being a small group, we could be flexible eg. could have a shorter stop for lunch and didn’t have to unload a whole bus for a toilet break. Our guide, Chaboo, was passionate about his island home and keen to share this with us. He was very personable and easy to talk to and ask questions of. If we’d have hired a car, we’d have driven past most of the beautiful scenery and if we had taken a big bus trip, we wouldn’t have fitted so much in and been able to get to all the off the beaten track places. We would thoroughly recommend this tour.
