Each line has a different theme, color palette, design and intent. You must view all four lines because each has a unique architectural style.
Absolutely true
The guide was very good and knowledgeable. He gave in depth information on the architecture and the Metro stations.
Thanks a lot for your review
I highly recommend this tour. We asked for ours to be focused on architecture, and that helps frame up a synthesis of the Islamic and Soviet/ Russian influences in culture, architecture, and politics, that have shaped the city. Tour guide Aziza was knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly.
Thanks for booking
We had a really fun time - Aziza was really informative, funny and helpful. We covered so much during the tour, and I found the content very insightful. It was a unique perspective on a fascinating city. I also really appreciated her help before the tour with sorting out some separate activities in Tashkent around the tour.
Thanks a lot
Absolutely fabulous tour . Aziza organised a taxi to pick us up at the hotel . Then we saw lots of Tashkent , walking , taxi , bus and the interesting metro , followed by lunch at a lovely resturant with typical food from the country . Would highly recommend .
Thanks a lot
Aziza is very knowledgeable about history of Uzbekistan. We visited a number of Soviet era architecture that we call Brutalism. Also visited a number of metro stations to see the artwork in each station. Very interesting to see.
Thanks a lot
We spent a couple of hours with Aziza to see a few select metro stations and city buildings which were beautiful. It was good to have a local guide who can give you more insights - do this quick and fast paced overview tour if don't have much time in Tashkent!
Aziza was responsive and receptive to tailoring this private tour according to my preferences including a stop at a very Soviet cafe for lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and getting to see the Soviet Modernist architecture buildings and the ornate Metro stations. She was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for activities to do outside the tour. She even helped me buy a ticket for a ballet performance and arrange tour guides for other cities I was visiting in Uzbekistan.
Aziza is a great tour guide who really knows the city and its architecture. I enjoyed exploring the bazaar, the subway stations, and other sites on this tour. She was very informative and conducted the tour at a comfortable pace. She also offered suggestions of other activities to enjoy in Tashkent. Highly recommend her tour
An amazing walking tour through Tashkent, exploring its striking modern Soviet architecture and urban layers. The experience was insightful and genuinely enjoyable. Aziza was outstanding — incredibly informative, fun to walk with, and very generous with both her knowledge and her time. She brought the city to life through stories, context, and thoughtful details. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to understand Tashkent beyond the surface.
Thanks a lot
