Geleid bezoek aan verschillende traditionele Bars/Tavernes. Probeer de beste churros met chocolade in Madrid. We mixen gastronomie met geschiedenis. Dus naast het genieten van de gastronomie, leer je meer over mijn stad en mijn land. Lokale gids expert in gastronomie en geschiedenis. Kleine groepen. Maximaal 10 personen.

Onze gastronomische tour begint om 19.00 uur in de Apple Store (Puerta del Sol). Ik heet u welkom in Madrid en zal u een beetje uitleggen wat we gaan doen tijdens de tour.
Nadat we u hebben verwelkomd op Puerta del Sol, gaan we naar de wijk Autrias, hier stoppen we (afhankelijk van de dag) bij onze eerste gastronomische stops. U zult dezelfde locaties ervaren waar de lokale bevolking naartoe gaat, op zoek naar traditionele tapas zoals Garnalen, Gesneden Tomaten, Gebakken Chorizo of Brava's, Paddestoelen (Dit is slechts een voorbeeld van de tapas die we die middag zouden kunnen proberen.)
Na als authentieke locals genoten te hebben van tapas, keren we weer terug naar Puerta del Sol. Hier ga ik dit prachtige plein beschrijven, ik zal je de geschiedenis vertellen en enkele symbolen die erin staan.
Tijdens onze gastronomische tour zullen we iconische plekken in de stad bezoeken, zoals Calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor, hier zal ik je een korte samenvatting geven van de geschiedenis van de Plaza, de belangrijkste Plaza in Madrid.
Na een bezoek aan de Plaza Mayor gaan we het middeleeuwse Madrid binnen. In dit gebied stoppen we bij een klassieke tapasbar in Madrid.
Na het beëindigen van onze 3e tapasbar en op weg naar onze laatste stop, de 4e, zullen we een van de mooiste pleinen van Madrid bezoeken. De Plaza de la Villa, hier zal ik je een korte en interessante samenvatting van het plein geven. We passeren ook het oudste restaurant ter wereld. Hier zal ik u een korte geschiedenis van het restaurant vertellen.
En om onze gastronomische tour af te sluiten, gaan we naar een van de beste churreria's in Madrid om onze churros met chocolade te proberen. Dit wordt onze 4e en laatste stop. We eindigen bij Calle Arenal, op 5 minuten lopen van Puerta del Sol, waar we onze tour begonnen.

My family and I booked this tapas tour on a rainy Monday afternoon in Madrid, and Carmen made it a wonderful evening, enjoying the tapas and churros with chocolate. Carmen gave us lots of information about the city and its history. We were very happy with the tour. I recommend it if you want a mix of gastronomy and the city's history.
Do it your first night We did the Tavern, Tapas, and History tour. Carmen was our guide. She was great. It was an amazing way to see the city and to get the history and culture of Madrid. We enjoyed all four stops. We had a great group of people on our tour. We learned a lot. There is plenty of food and you won't leave hungry. I would recommend doing this your first night in Madrid if possible. It's well worth it.
Food, History, and Wine Carmen, our guide, was the perfect combination of knowledge, friendliness, and an exceptional host. Proud of her city, its history, and its cuisine, she made dining with the best host. The food was plentiful and delicious. You'll walk around a bit between sites and learn a lot.

Hands down the best tour we've done in a very long time. Carmen was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. It was so relaxing having a local person order the specialoties; food and wine delicious! Recommended without reservation.

I can't say enough about this tour with Carmen! It was the best way to start our trip to Madrid! We had a wonderful time learning about the city and its cuisine. We visited various places where we tried some typical Spanish dishes such as garlic prawns, patatas bravas, mushrooms, and of course, churros with chocolate. It's worth booking while you're in Madrid!

It was a very fun tour, and Carmen made the whole experience very enjoyable. She took us to great places you wouldn't normally find on your own. And she knew most of the city inside out. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Madrid, but book it early in your trip. The guide, besides taking you to the restaurants you'll be going to that night, will give you more information about other bars to go to after the tour. I highly recommend it.
We took a wonderful tour with Carmen. My family enjoyed delicious tapas and drinks, and we learned a lot of history. We ended our tour by trying a Spanish classic: hot chocolate with churros. We would definitely do it again!
