Zodra u van boord gaat van het cruiseschip, begint uw tour. De reis naar Castelmola duurt ongeveer 45 minuten over de snelweg.
De eerste stop van onze rondreis is het prachtige Castelmola. Een klein middeleeuws dorpje, beroemd om zijn amandelwijn en een unieke bar: Bar Turrisi. Hier, als onderdeel van de tour, krijgt u de gelegenheid om te genieten van een kleine proeverij van Siciliaanse cannoli en heerlijke amandelwijn. Je hebt ook minstens 30 minuten de tijd om het dorp zelfstandig te verkennen.
Onze tour vervolgt de afdaling naar het elegante Taormina. Het oversteken van de historische boog van In Porta Catania duiken we in het rijke verleden van de stad. We gaan het prachtige Griekse theater verkennen. (ticket niet inbegrepen), een meesterwerk van oude bouwkunde, beroemd om zijn adembenemende uitzicht op de Etna. en op zee. We vervolgen onze weg naar de betoverende Florence Trevelyan Public Garden, een groene oase vol charme. exotische plant die toebehoorde aan een Engelse edelvrouw, verbonden aan het hof van koningin Victoria, die vluchtte uit Engeland vanwege een schandaal waarbij zij betrokken was. Daarna, wandelend over Corso Umberto, de hoofdstraat en oude decumanus, kom je... omgeven door elegante boetieks, levendige cafés, pittoreske steegjes en historische gebouwen die de omgeving bewaken De ware essentie van de stad. Tot slot bereiken we per auto een exclusief panoramisch uitzichtpunt, uniek om te bewonderen en te fotograferen. vanaf de top van het beroemde Isola Bella, waardoor u een onvergetelijke herinnering aan ons prachtige land overhoudt.

Bij aankomst in de haven van Messina worden reizigers opgewacht bij Gate 5. Een van onze chauffeurs staat daar klaar om hen te verwelkomen met een bordje met hun naam erop. De begin- en eindtijd van de tour moeten minimaal 24 uur van tevoren worden afgesproken, op basis van de aankomst- en vertrektijden van het cruiseschip.

Our tour guides Allesandro and Aurora were amazing. They had refreshments ready for us when the tour started. They provided a comfortable vehicle for touring. Aurora was very friendly and helpful through the tour. She pointed out all the important places to see and we saw quite a bit with the limited time available.
Alessandro and Aurora were exceptional! We asked for special arrangements and exception for starting our tour later than scheduled so they could accommodate us so we could attend Sunday Mass before going into Taormina. They greeted us after and took us to a cafe for a snack and refreshment before beginning our tour. They were both very knowledgeable drinking and taking us around everywhere . Aurora recommended shops for us and a place for a light lunch which was excellent! She was so knowledgeable about the area and history of Sicily and Italy in general. Both very friendly and went out of their way to make our experience so enjoyable. Would highly recommend them to anyone visiting Messina and Sicily!!

The drive, Allesandro was excellent, took us to memorable spots gave us time to explore, cannoli was best i ever had! The theme bar was quite an unusual experience, but the drive was best, green, lush countryside.

Bahar was energetic and positive. We all liked her. However she needed to really learn to guide. Stop to face the entire group and talk so we all hear. Focus more on details and history of the monuments and buildings. We had no mention of the big Roman Theatre. She give us a fantastic recommendation for lunch. We enjoyed the day.
