Geniet van een onvergetelijke avond in Café de los Angelitos, een historisch café in Buenos Aires met meer dan 100 jaar traditie. Gelegen in de wijk Balvanera, verwelkomde deze iconische locatie ooit legendarische figuren zoals Carlos Gardel en organiseert nu een van de meest prestigieuze tangoshows van de stad. Achter fluwelen gordijnen wacht een gezellig theater om u onder te dompelen in de elegantie, charme en passie van de Argentijnse cultuur. De show bestaat uit 21 artiesten, waaronder een orkest met viool, piano, contrabas en bandoneons, twee zangers en zes dansersparen. Door middel van muziek, dans en kostuumwisselingen vertelt de voorstelling het verhaal van de tango van de jaren 1920 tot de moderne tijd van Piazzolla. Café de los Angelitos biedt een verfijnde sfeer, intieme verlichting en aandacht voor detail. Het biedt een 360°-ervaring waarin tango evolueert van mythe naar een levendige, levende kunstvorm. This is an amazing show and great dinner. The pick up was smoothly done and the theatre was beautiful.
Excellent venue, good food, stellar waiters, superb show! There are many options for seeing a Tango in Buenos Aires, this choice is wonderful!
Enjoyed this dinner show immensely! The show, with dancing, singing, instrumental music, was excellent. Coatumes were true to historical period, and beautiful. Dinner also very good ... steak was huge and perfectly done. Fish very good too. Venue was a lovely historic theatre. Staff were friendly, hotel pickup service prompt and courteous. Would definitely recommend!

We went there at the end of October , in privilege upstairs. Arrival 8:00 p.m. Show 10:00 p.m. Before it is the meal. Quite frankly, I don’t understand those who feasted: it was a Wednesday night. 4 cm2 of salmon on poorly seasoned couscous. Not appropriate. My wife chose meat (this is the country!) no taste. I took fish of the day. I thought it was a joke. Frankly not good and overcooked. In the 2 courses unattractive and cold accompaniment. As for the dessert the pavlova in addition trashed by a honey syrup ... we have not seen a dessert pavlova that has been finished around us ... overall the meal is a real joke. The waiters are very nice but their jackets and shirts are worn, the seats are stained... we have the impression of an end of the journey ... finally the tango show: it is correct, two couples save the day ... there is surely better .. our travel agency had the same returns and decided to make another choice ... difficult to understand the messages of those who were delighted with the meal ... we were in the same place .... That the chief of rank observes his jacket... there is a clean shot to really give...
Everything about this experience was wonderful! Our driver was fantastic. Dinner was delicious. My wineglass was never empty. The show was incredible.
This is an excellent option when visiting Buenos Aires to see a high quality show that is fully authentic to the Tango/Argentine Tango. We were collected on time as promised and dropped at the door of the cafe. The welcome within was great as we were all met by a hostess in local (historic) dress and taken to our table. The waiting staff were prompt, attentive and incredibly helpful. The service was excellent, the food fabulous (word of warning the steak is huge if you order it so don't have lunch!!) as a 3 course meal and the wine was plentiful. We weren't sure if that would be included but it was and the Chilean Merlot was particularly good. The show then began - it was brilliant and lasted an hour plus/ The dancers were superb, the musicians excellent and the whole performance just great and great to see the dance in its natural home performed so well. Transport was waiting for us ahead of the show ending and took us back to our hotel. Overall a great night and well worth experiencing if you have the chance.
What an amazing experience. Great atmosphere. 3 course meal and we both had steak, portions are enormous and 1 steak would easily feed 2 people. The actual tango show was brilliant and wad a fantastic evening
The service was great, many smiling faces. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Endless wine included! And the show was magnificent! Beautiful venue too.
I don’t understand and usually - don’t enjoy watching the art of dance. However, this was a very engaging, inspiring and a pleasure to watch performance to very high standards accompanied by a surprisingly good dinner, wine and services. Recommended.
