Tango-les en wijnproeverij in Buenos Aires, Argentinië

Beschrijving

We had a fantastic time with Catalina, a natural teacher and conversationalist, with flawless English and Spanish, and an easygoing way about her. My wife and I made this dance lesson (with wine and empanadas) part of our actual 20th anniversary, and it was time well spent. Communication in advance was easy and quick, the instruction was straightforward and fun, had a great chat - we left uplifted, with advice about sights to see (and she was entirely correct). Plus, as you walk out, you’re across from a great mall for shopping and food, surrounded by a huge district filled with more shops and coffee than anywhere else we’ve been. Bottom line - couples visiting town should not miss out on this opportunity.
My boyfriend and I booked at private tango lesson with Catalina and it was such a lovely experience! We were both beginners and she gave an excellent and approachable foundation to the basics. She had a calming presence, was reassuring and gave practical and actionable tips for improvement. Her homemade empanadas and malbec wine tasting were delicious! We had a lovely conversation while we ate after the lesson. Everything took place in a beautiful resident artists' space. There was even a friendly cat who joined us! I highly recommend if you're new to tango and want a unique experience in Beunos Aires!
Catalina was a very good teacher. Both friendly and informative. She made learning the tango easy for everyone
Learning to tango is learning to trust your partner while walking together. This was such an excellent experience. Cata taught us the basics and afterwords we toasted with a lovely glass of Malbec wine and homemade empanadas. We also talked about our experience in the city, and she gave us a brief summary of the city's history as well as suggestion for places to visit and not miss. I would definitely recommend this experience and come back to take a follow up lesson.
This was such a fun evening! Cata gave wonderful instruction in made it easy to learn. The homemade empanadas were delicious and we enjoyed the conversation and wine as well.
Catalina was in touch before the class to check we had all the information we needed. We were a small group (6of us) in a dance studio set above a bar in central BA. Catalina was lovely, she was unhurried and put us all at ease before teaching us the tango, from how the locals dance to the traditional tango. What can you do in one session but amazingly we were all dancing tango around the room by the end of the session. Then we sat, ate some empanadas and drank 2 sorts of wine, and just chatted about life, Buenos Aires and dancing. It was very special. We would definitely recommend this experience.
Me and my best friend booked this class and we couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. Catalina was a great teacher, we had a lot of fun during the course, but also after. We learned a lot about the history of tango and Argentina itself. A wonderful experience that really added an extra touch to our stay in Buenos Aires!!!
Great lessons, very friendly , I enjoy the food, wine and company! I would highly recommend the experience
We had a great experience! Catalina was a wonderful dance instructor! The wine and empanadas were also wonderful! I would recommend this experience.
A lovely relaxed activity made even better by the delicious empanadas and wine after. Catalina had some fantastic recommendations for us on where to see an authentic tango social meet up later that night and it was a truly special part of our time in Buenos Aires. Catalina is fun, warm and approachable. If you have two left feet do not fear- you will be well able to take part and have fun.
