Bij ons draait het allemaal om het vissen in de prachtige wateren van Tamarindo, onze lokale bemanning weet precies waar de beste visplekken zijn op de dag van uw tour. Na vele uren op deze getijden te hebben gelogd, kunnen kapitein en eerste stuurman u alles vertellen over hun ervaring met vissen in de prachtige Pacifische wateren van Costa Rica. Ze geven je niet alleen een goed inzicht in verschillende soorten vissen die populair zijn in de omgeving, maar als je geluk hebt kunnen ze de vis voor je fileren, zodat je mee kunt nemen of kunt genieten van een verse sashimi aan boord. Je vist aan boord van een 26ft Mako middenconsole die plaats biedt aan maximaal 5 passagiers, het heeft steunpoten en alle benodigdheden waar geen enkele vismachine zonder kan. Er is een toilet aan boord voor uw gemak. Je vindt hengels, rollen en uitrusting op je te wachten, evenals kunstaas. Reizen worden uitgevoerd met behulp van een First mate, een 10 - 20% fooi is gebruikelijk om uw waardering voor hun harde werk te tonen (niet inbegrepen in de tourprijs). Our family had an amazing time on the fishing charter trip. The captain Bismark is super friendly and is so knowledgeable about the area and where the best spots are to fish. We had a beautiful morning to go fish and snorkeling at a private beach where there was no one except us. Our son is over the moon so happy to catch his first fish- a yellow fin tuna! Bismark and his crew helped make us feel welcome and took care of all our needs. I would definitely go again.
Great day, great guide, great pics of sloths and frogs…..a must do. Rudy was the best….enjoyed the little history lesson on Costa Rica.

BISMARCK and Jose were amazing. We caught so many fish and had a great time. Well worth the money. Book it and it will be the highlight of the trip! Snapper, grouper and TUNA!! Plus you will be support an amazing small local business.

Bismark and Fabian were absolutely incredible. My husband, 13 year son and myself enjoyed a glorious day on the water. We caught so much fish we shared with Bismark and Fabian. While it’s a smaller vessel, the intimate experience is so worth it. They were attentive, patient, knew all the best spots and cheered us on as we reeled in the catch.

Really enjoyed our fishing trip with Sailfish tours. Caroline and Bismarck were great and despite the rough seas they were able to get us on some snapper and tuna. I will definitely book with them again and pray for calmer seas. Had our catch cooked for dinner too!

Went on a half day fishing trip out of Tamarindo, Costa Rica with Caroline and Bismark. They got us on some Albacore Tuna right away. Bismark cleaned them right on the boat for us. Was a pretty wavy day but Caroline kept checking on us making sure we were all doing ok. Great conversation and a great time!
Our family had an amazing time with Caroline and Bismark. Caroline contacted us and warned that the waters might be rough and to bring anti-nausea pills but in the end the waters were calm. We were also told no guarantees for catching fish but we caught 8 tuna and kept 3 that Bismark kindly skinned and gutted. I made fish tacos for lunch and sushi tuna for dinner. We were also served the most amazing tasting pineapple and a few very cold beers. I would highly recommend this excursion.
