Ontdek Tahiti tijdens een halve dag langs de kustlijn van je keuze. Afhankelijk van waar je zin in hebt, kies je voor de wildere, groenere oostkust of de westkust, die bekendstaat om zijn stranden en spectaculaire zonsondergangen. Als je voor de oostkust kiest, word je ondergedompeld in een wildernis waar de bergen de oceaan ontmoeten. Je ontdekt de mythische Pointe Vénus en zijn historische vuurtoren, de indrukwekkende kliffen gebeeldhouwd door de wind en de golven, en de vredige watervallen verborgen in het hart van de tropische vegetatie. Als je voor de westkust kiest, brengt de reis je langs witte zandstranden en kristalheldere lagunes. Je stopt bij de Maraa grotten, mysterieuze grotten omgeven door groen, bij het Tahiti Museum (optioneel) en gaat dan verder naar de beroemde surfspots, waar de golven het rif met kracht kussen. En tot slot de Vahipai Watertuin.

Westkust. Zeer natuurlijke grotten in een weelderig groene omgeving
Westkust. De witte zandstranden liggen aan de westkust van het eiland. Ze zijn natuurlijk en vaak met koraal!
Westkust. Prachtige 18-holes internationale golfbaan. Je zult versteld staan van al het groen en de bergen!
Westkust. Een schitterend zwart zandstrand, vrijwel het enige aan de westkust. Een prachtige plek die je een glimp laat opvangen van de kustlijn van Tahiti. Je kunt er ook surfers zien en, afhankelijk van het seizoen, walvissen!
Westkust. Laatste halte. Prachtig park met waterval en vijver. Bloemen, fruitbomen, watervallen, alen... Dit park zal je verrassen met zijn schoonheid. Veel pasgetrouwden gaan erheen om hun foto's te laten maken!

This review is of the second half day of our tour with Maxim I. This tour was of the southern island, Tahiti Iti. Max continued with his enlightenment Tahiti and Polynesia as we toured the southern island. We even learned a few Tahitian words. Max is very accommodating. We had a flight that evening, so we carried out luggage with us. Max saw to it that we got there on time. We drove all the way down the coast of the island to the site of the 2024 Surfing Olympics at Teahupoʻo reef pass. Max was deservedly proud of the fact that there were staged in Tahiti.

Outstanding half day seeing West Coast. Nice variety of sites to visit, including beaches, gardens, waterfalls, and caves. Guide was extremely knowledgable about the history and the vegetation. Guide was very friendly and communicated well.

We cannot recommend this tour enough! It was a great way to see the island without renting a car. We did the four hour, east coast option. Philippe was a wonderful guide, he shared a lot of local insight coupled with humor. Our trip was private and just the four of us in a beautiful AC’d BMW. He picked us up at the hotel directly and was happy to drop us in the city center afterwards when we requested. He has a full day option that also includes a boat ride to see the surfer in the huge waves. We didn’t go this time around but definitely will next time!

Our tour guide and driver, Édouard, was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and always had something interesting to tell us. He seemed like an expert on local plants, trees, and flowers as well as pearl production. It was a nice comfortable car with good A!C. He tailored the 1/2 day tour to our liking and was efficient every step of the way. I would recommend this tour and provider. One suggestion is to use name signs at the port for easy identification.

My husband, cousin, his wife and myself went on this tour together. The van was plenty big and super comfortable. Our guide took us to places that were beautiful and explained so many things we saw. He was fantastic. Would strongly recommend this tour.
