Zie prachtige bultruggen en zuidelijke rechtse walvissen in het spel tijdens een Sydney whale-watching cruise. Vanaf Circular Quay voert deze open water cruise u door de ingang van Sydney Harbour en de open Stille Oceaan in op zoek naar walvissen. De open lucht uitkijkdekken aan boord van de catamaran bieden vrij uitzicht en de beste mogelijkheden om de walvissen te spotten en te bekijken. Dicht bij deze zachte reuzen van de zee komen is een ontzagwekkende ervaring die je niet wilt missen. Met recordaantallen walvissen die dit migratieseizoen langs de kust van Sydney zullen passeren, zijn er zeker genoeg waarnemingen en geweldige fotomogelijkheden! Deze activiteit is seizoensgebonden en loopt van half mei tot begin november elk jaar.

was a little disappointed that even though we saw whales (or rather part of it), it was viewed from over a 100 meters or more away. Felt like I needed a binoculars.
Great experience! We saw five whales. Very dependent on the day though, but a fabulous trip. Only thing is that they said there would be food and beverages to purchase on board, and wasn’t. Make sure to bring a water bottle and snacks for your trip just in case.
Booked a journey to the experience. Advice was only open for cancellations within 1 hr of the book. While we travelled for up to 2hrs to have the experience. We had news the booking was cancelled due to weather and although we were on time couldn’t go because of weather cancellations. We regret the cancellation and refund request due to our travel plans were a timed event to no alternative booking availability.
Great whale watching tour! Saw some dolphins swimming along the boat and lots of whales! We were not lucky enough to see a whale breach, but we saw a lot of whales just at the surface, swimming, their fins, lots of them using their blow holes, and lots of their tails. The crew did a great job driving around to find the whales and even trying to get one to breach closer to us. Also, the views of Sydney from the boat are wonderful! Great boat staff.

Our family of 6 - 2 adults 4 kids - age range 12 yrs to 18 yrs - thoroughly enjoyed this activity on a recent holiday to Sydney - the boat was immaculately clean and comfortable - felt very safe - the crew made the trip fun and engaging for all age ranges - Sam, Rachel & Mitch looked after us all so well - the talk on whales throughout the tour was very interesting but nothing bet the multiple sightings of the hump back whales we enjoyed throughout our tour - our whole family loved this experience & we highly recommend - this company has an add on of a tour to Toranga Zoo - I would recommend to do both for an amazing full day out in Sydney enjoying fabulous experiences for the whole family.

Amazing experience! We saw so many whales and a double breach on a couple of occasions. I don’t think our experience was the usual per se, but it was so incredible! Be sure to bring motion sickness pills if you are the kind of person who gets seasick. I was very glad to have taken mine prior to the trip as it was a little bumpy, but so worth it. The guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic. Great experience.

We had a fantastic time. Thankfully it was a sunny day, we got to see multiple whale breaches and two pods of Dolphins swam right up to us. Saw several whale tales too. And our guide was positively hilarious. Strongly recommend this activity.
The boat was one of the harbour hop on/off ferries - it had no shelter on the top deck, the lower level had limited covered outside space and the interior is a fully seated area, no access to stand near windows. The interior is not well ventilated and by the end smelt of vomit. Fortunately it was not too rough a day but it was chilly, with significant wind and rainy and very cold to remain on the top deck. The captain and commentator did a good job but it simply was a bad vessel for this purpose and NOT a purpose specific vessel as advertised. CHOOSE AN ALTERNATIVE CRUISE PROVIDER.
The pictured boat on the adds was not the boat provided! This was a bad experience because the boat was one of the little harbour hop on/off ferry catamarans NOT a purpose designed boat. It was thankfully quite a calm day but it did rain and some wind - there was NO shelter on the top deck and limited covered outdoor space on the lower area - inside all seats were used & it became SMELLY as the trip went on. From the inside lower area the windows do not provide a good whale viewing option as some height is preferable and there are seats adjacent. This type of ferry is NOT suitable for ocean whale watching. The 2 stars are for the Captain and Commentory staff who worked hard to try to improve the experience.

While our whale watching cruises are operated using our harbour ferry catamarans rather than our dining vessels, these vessels have been used successfully for whale watching operations for many years and are fully certified and suitable for offshore operations. Our flagship vessel, Sydney 2000, is designed specifically for harbour dining experiences and is not permitted to operate in open ocean waters, which is why it is not used for whale watching cruises.
