Elk jaar zien we tijdens de grote walvismigratie duizenden bultruggen en zuidkapers dicht bij de kustlijn rond Sydney zwemmen. Coral Trekker, een van de historische schepen van Sydney Harbour Tall Ships, organiseert walviscruises tijdens deze ongelooflijke migratie, zodat mensen de walvissen van dichtbij kunnen zien in hun natuurlijke omgeving. Ervaar een 4-uur durende cruise buiten de hoofden en geniet van lekker eten. Om de ervaring compleet te maken, krijg je een GRATIS mastklim! What an incredible experience! The sailboat is a 104 year old high mast sailboat. It was amazing to watch the crew work the sails. Ruth narrated the experience throughout and served an excellent lunch and dessert. We went far enough out to see humpback whales. It was a great 5 hour sail/whale cruise that I would highly recommend!

A wonderful day out whale watching on the Southern Swan. We got to see a humpback whale breaching as well as dolphins, but it would have been a fantastic standalone day of sailing even if we hadn't seen anything. The crew was great, and it was a pleasure watching the operation of a more than 100 years old vessel.

The whale watching trip by Sydney harbour Tall ships is amazing if you are looking for an authentic and non touristic experience. The staff is super friendly and really wants to make sure that you have a good time. It is clear that everyone on board loves their job. They share interesting facts about different places along the harbour and we were allowed to help with letting the sails of the ship down. Those who wanted even got the opportunity to climb the mast of the ship, from where you have an amazing view. Even though we didn’t end up seeing any whales, we had an amazing day out on the water with some great soup and a meal included!
Yesterday's whale & sail was a wonderful day out. The Soren Larsen is a beautiful boat. The crew were helpful and informative - special thanks to Craig for releasing my lens cap, I was able to take some amazing photographs. Whilst the whales were a little shy we did see some spouts, a tail and a breach! and some dolphins. Thanks again to all at Sydney Tall Ships
My husband and I went whale watching on the tall ship. It was an awesome day out and we had whales come right up to the boat, I've never seen them so close before. We sailed out from Circular Quay to the Heads. It was quite a big swell once we were out at sea but the crew did a great job of making sure everyone felt safe. Would really recommend whale watching on a boat like this as it adds a whole other dimension to the experience as opposed to some of the larger cruise ships.
