Begeef je op een exclusief avontuur met kleine groepen van Interlaken naar de iconische Zwitserse skyline bij Schilthorn. Reis met de trein naar Lauterbrunnen en ga verder via Stechelberg om Schilthorn te bereiken. Ervaar de adrenaline van de "Thrill Walk" en dompel jezelf onder in de filmische wereld van James Bond tijdens de tentoonstelling. Geniet van een lunch in het iconische ronddraaiende restaurant met panoramisch uitzicht. De reis gaat verder naar Mürren voor een dorpswandeling voordat u terugkeert naar Interlaken. U stapt op de stoptrein naar Lauterbrunnen. Het brengt u binnen 25 minuten naar de Lauterbrunnen-vallei.
U komt aan in het dorp Lauterbrunnen dat is afgesloten voor het einde van de vallei, met uitzicht op de omliggende bergen. Hier stapt u over op de lokale bus, die in 10 minuten naar Stechelberg rijdt.
Het dorp is via de Luftseilbahn Stechelberg-Mürren-Schilthorn (LSMS), een kabelbaan gebouwd in 1965, verbonden met andere voorzieningen en locaties in de omgeving.
Na twee ritten met de kabelbaan maak je een tussenstop bij station "Birg". Op een panoramisch terras kunt u genieten van het prachtige uitzicht op de omliggende bergen. Als je de voorkeur geeft aan wat meer spanning: de stalen structuur klampt zich vast aan de rots voordat hij onder het observatiedek en de kabelbaan door slingert om te eindigen onder het kabelbaanstation. Kenmerken zoals een kruiptunnel, een vloer met glazen bodem, een touw en een veerooster geven dit huiveringwekkende avontuur nog meer spanning.
Kom aan bij "Piz Gloria", de locatie die voorkomt in de James Bond-film On Her Majesty's Secret Service uit 1969. De top heeft een panoramisch uitzicht dat zich uitstrekt van de Titlis, Jungfrau, Mönch, Eiger, over de Berner Alpen en het Juragebergte tot aan de Vogezen en het Zwarte Woud. De Mont Blanc is ook nog net zichtbaar. Het ronddraaiende restaurant, het terras en de speciale tentoonstelling over de James Bond-film zijn de bezienswaardigheden die u tijdens uw verblijf zult bezoeken.
Mürren is een traditioneel Walser-bergdorp in de Berner Hooglanden van Zwitserland, op een hoogte van 1.638 meter boven de zeespiegel en niet bereikbaar via de openbare weg. Met een wandeling door het dorp ben je binnen 20 minuten Mürren door. Geniet van de typische houten chalets en het panoramische uitzicht op de omliggende bergen voordat u op de lokale spoorlijn richting Lauterbrunnen stapt. Verschillende restaurants en bars nodigen u uit om te ontspannen, te genieten van het uitzicht of oude houten chalets en groene weiden te ontdekken. Uw gids staat voor u klaar voor informatie of hints over Mürren en plaatsen om naartoe te gaan.
Vanuit Lauterbrunnen brengt de lokale trein je in 25 minuten terug naar Interlaken, waar de tour eindigt.

The rides to Piz Gloria were amazing; fantastic views as well as amazing engineering; Uli was great!
The tour guide is very friendly and helpful and we had a great time! Highly recommend everyone to join this tour.
Our guide was great. We were the only two people on this tour. Our guide was quite flexible and always gave us choices on how to get to our next destination. We loved the walking/hiking suggestions. Unfortunately I can’t spell his name! He was a sub for our original guide who was sick.
Michael was extremely helpful and enjoyable! He was very knowledgeable, took great pictures and made sure we hit all the good places. Highly recommend!

Great views and good food at the Pizza Gloria restaurant. The cliff at birg was also something not to miss. However the tour guide was nothing but a coordinator of the tickets. There was no explanation of the history or what things were unless asked. Also, the various gondolas you have to take to get to the top are packed with people standing that you can almost can't breathe.
We are in the middle of the high season and Schilthorn will be closed from September on for half a year (due to renovation). Due to this, you can not expect a private cableway for you.
The spectacular views and exciting travel cannot be over stated. Unbelievable!!! The experience was capped off by our excellent guide Dominic. He made the tremendous adventure just that much better !!!

The outstanding part of our tour was our guide, Roberto. There were only two of us participating in the tour with Roberto because my wife was not well and needed a day off. This allowed plenty of time to learn more about Switzerland as well as discuss a wide-ranging number of topics. The mountain scenery was beautiful, the weather absolutely perfect and transport by train and cable car were a learning experience. I strongly recommend Roberto to any potential tour customers. He was sensitive to our toilet needs and generally kept a close eye on our safety and comfort.

Wonderful day trip! Our guide Rachel was amazing! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with us. She had little surprises for us along the way. The tour was perfectly timed and coordinated. Loved Piz Gloria and the bond exhibit. Big fan of the film. Fun place to have lunch. Part way down we did a walk along the cliff which was terrifying but beautiful. Views throughout the trip were stunning. Pictures can’t do it justice.

I would rate this trip as the last compared to Mount Titlis and Jungfrauouch day trips. Our tour guide Maya was an amazing person and took good care of us very well with all the information about the local community and even guided us to a good restaurant to try out Swiss food of cheese fondue and Rostti. Unfortunately, it was very foggy that day and we couldn’t get any view at the top and also couldn’t try out the cliff walk. Please check out the weather before you plan. I still think that this tour is very expensive compared to Mt. Titlis and Jungfrauouch tours by Best of Switzerland tours. I’m not sure if Schlithorn-Pizgloria trip is worth the $300/person trip. On the way back we were dropped at Traumelbache falls and we did a self guided tour of the falls and we were awestruck by the gush of the glacier falls inside the gorge. Never miss it.
Your review is really nice, but why 2 stars? You got a private tour and not the hassle of 40 people in a group like on Best of Switzerland Tours. Talking about prices: Do you know the price level for train tickets/cableway tickets/tourguide costs in Switzerland or do you prefer to squeezed into a bus like with Best of Switzerland tours?
