Zwem met walvishaaien in het Ningaloo Reef: 3 Island Shark Dive

BEST DAY EVER! My husband and I are really Marine lovers and we saw: Turtles (lots) Australian humpback dolphin Dusky dolphins Dugong Humpback whales including many breaches. We got so lucky that a whale fully breached about 10metres from the boat. Supposedly someone is going to share a video - fingers crossed. Minky whales Sea snake Hammerhead shark And we did a snorkel in a reef and saw lots of fishies coral jellyfish, soph saw a black tip reef shark. This was all before the main event of swimming with a whale shark. We got to swim with 2 different ones.... And they also spotted an oceanic manta Ray and we swam with that too 😅 Probably the coolest marine day we've had - and we've had some amazing ones. The team was epic, great knowledge and amazing attitude. Their guidance to having the best day ever was top notch. We appreciated the use of toys to explain how the swim would work.

What an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish, this whale shark tour was nothing short of brilliant. Of course, the whale sharks were the undeniable stars of the show, and swimming alongside these gentle giants is something we’ll never forget. But what truly made the day exceptional was the amazing crew. Their enthusiasm, knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care for everyone on board made all the difference. They were always there to help, encourage, answer questions, and ensure everyone had the best possible experience. Everything was so well organised, and the atmosphere throughout the day was relaxed, fun, and welcoming. You could tell the crew genuinely love what they do, and that passion shines through in every interaction. If you’re considering a whale shark tour, don’t hesitate—this was an unforgettable experience that exceeded every expectation. A huge thank you to the entire crew for making an already amazing adventure truly outstanding. The champers at the end really ended the day in style. Five stars all the way!

We had the most amazing day with the crew on Seafari. The whale shark dive was exceptionally well organised, thoughtfully planned, and an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our guides, Alice and Niamh, explained everything clearly and were incredibly patient, making everyone feel comfortable and confident. Molly, the photographer, was fantastic — she captured the whole experience beautifully while also helping keep everyone, including the whale shark, safe. Jen, the first mate, did an amazing job keeping everyone safe around the tender, Neville, and skipper Jerry was unreal at looking after everyone and locating humpbacks for viewing, always ensuring the whales’ safety and wellbeing came first. We had two young children with us, and the guides were absolutely unbelievable with them. Their kindness, patience, and encouragement made the day even more special for our family. I haven’t done another whale shark tour to compare it with, but I rate 3 islands. Their conservation message, genuine love for whale sharks, professionalism, and good humour made this an experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommend!

The whale shark dive we booked with Three Islands far exceeded our expectations. Our first dive was in the protected waters, where we tested our equipment while taking in the beautiful coral and the huge variety of fish. From there, we headed further offshore in search of the whale sharks. A spotter plane was used and since there was only one whale shark in the area, all the boats shared the experience. Even so, we still managed to get three swims with the whale shark, which was incredible. Before entering the water, everyone was briefed on how to make the experience as eco-friendly as possible, which was great to see. We also saw plenty of other wildlife and were lucky enough to watch humpback whales breaching. The staff on board were amazing. They had a photographer with us throughout the day, and we received a link to all the photos the following day, which was included in the ticket price. I can't say enough good things about Three Islands and would highly recommend them if you're considering a whale shark dive

We had the best day with the best crew. They were friendly, knowledgeable, organised and just all round legends. We swam with a whale shark and enjoyed a marvellous display from migrating humpback whales. Just magic.

There were 9 in our family group from grandparents to grandchildren and all levels were catered for. The staff ensured safety first and inspired us with their knowledge and professionalism. We were fortunate to have 3 dives, two alongside whale sharks. We were well fed so everyone was happy. Such a memorable day out for all of us.

Absolutely the trip of a lifetime! So well organised, amazing team looking after us and we loved every minute of it. Swimming with two whale sharks was an absolute highlight, no words can describe it except oh my God! Then to swim with a turtle later and snorkel the amazing Ningaloo reef was such a treat, just so many beautiful fish! A truly magical experience, highly recommend! All the wonderful details including a glass of bubbly on return! Thank you so much to all the crew!
