Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens

We lined up to get tickets, then lined up again to enter the main building with the displays. It was crowded to the point of being claustrophobic. Shoulder to shoulder, we worked our way through the displays which were not very interesting. So many people made it very difficult to see much or have a remotely enjoyable experience. Couldn’t wait to leave. Of course they funnel you through the gigantic store on the way out. Regret wasting half a day there.

Unforgettable A magical moment full of delicacy and poetry. The museum is magnificent and the outdoor spaces are very well maintained. I recommend it!

I was sooo open minded about going ...The front entrance intrigued me from website photos. Only to be the first of many disappointments. Every room was such a letdown. Though actually the snow was enjoyable! I ate some 😂 Too bad there was no history on the family and how their Swarovski crystal story began. Nothing that I saw! Too bad, what an opportunity you missed. And actually talking about the making of the crystals... Could have been fascinating ! ! Family missed out again. and probably missed out on some sales , because if you educate, people are more interested in your product. The whole museum was really not though out. ohhhhhh! except for the HUGE store ! I just walked right thru. not interested. The costumes you had, weren't originals and actually poorly put together. I was looking forwarded to maybe seeing the million$ wedding dress of Swarovski crystals! of the granddaughter's. Now that would have been an outstanding display ! ! ! You know, I know the family thinks this museum is wonderful... but it truly looked like there was a certain budget and people involved had to stick with that budget....and they just slapped up a museum, to draw people to the gift shop (where there was nothing that you cannot buy in any other country ! ). Sad,Sad,Sad..the family tolally 'missed the boat' on this adventure.. I cannot in all honesty recommend this 'museum". AND it could have been soooo much more! ohhhh.. one more thing. Dont go looking for the archaeological sight. Sad example. Sooo small , easy to miss!

The museum is very beautiful. The rooms are small. Therefore, it is necessary to avoid the crowd. I visited it during the week from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM; there weren't too many people, and I was able to enjoy the beautiful exhibitions. However, the large shop at the exit does not meet the standards of Swarovski. Many necklaces are displayed hanging on a hook with a simple tag, like worthless necklaces found at a market! I bought a necklace for €159, which was handed to me in a simple cardboard box. Moreover, this necklace was on sale for €119 on the Swarovski website. Many other pieces of jewelry are sold for less on the official website. A piece of advice: Look and buy on the Swarovski website or on Amazon to avoid being taken advantage of!

If you are in the area, it may be worth a visit... certainly, you will not discover how the jewelry is made, but it is more of a museum that honors the art of enhancing crystal! It is therefore quite subjective, and for us, it was interesting, and we enjoyed the visit.

We have been coming here for several years and are truly impressed. Every year there is a new program and we really like it. We are very grateful that such a thing exists. Sander and his team deserve special mention; they really do great work and you can tell that the children are dear to them. Thank you from the Kolsassberg kindergarten.

The crystal showcases are out of this world, very wrll planned.

It was a fantastic experience! Everything was very, very beautiful. And the saleswomen are very nice. I can highly recommend this visit!
