Je professionele gids haalt je 's ochtends op je afgesproken tijd op in je hotel in Shanghai, waarna je na een rit van 2 uur in een comfortabele minibus met chauffeur naar Suzhou gaat. Al honderden jaren staat Suzhou bekend om het behoud van vele charmante en typische klassieke tuinen, bijna allemaal de residenties van de rijke families ter plaatse. Je eerste bestemming is de Master of Nets Garden. De prachtige tuin is niet erg groot, maar de speciale indeling van paviljoens, poorten, ramen en verschillende zalen vergroot de ruimte visueel en is zeker een bezoek waard.
Daarna neemt je gids je mee naar Shantang Street, een oude voetgangersweg langs de rivier met een paar oude stenen bruggen en veel traditionele woonhuizen. Het is een ideale plek om te wandelen, allerlei lokale snacks te proberen en souvenirs te kopen. Hier heb je een uur vrije tijd om deze straat te verkennen en zelf te lunchen. We went to Tongli Ancient Town which is famous for water town on the last day of labors’ holiday. it took almost 1.5 hours by car and it was good to leave the hotel earlier than we planned at first because of the busy traffic. Private tour is really good and helpful especially in busy season. Ryan has a lot of knowledge about history, architecture, economics, and etc... and we really enjoyed his explanations. After coming back to the downtown, he supported us to go to the acrobatic show which was hold in a theater a little bit far from the central. He showed warm hospitality during our stay in Shanghai.

We have Daniel as our tour guy during the Shanghai city tour. He is from the local and very knowledge about this city. Speaking both English and Chinese well. Very good language skill. My kids love him so much. Oh, I almost forget to mention that he is a good photographer. He helped to take the picture of my families and each came out very nice!!!! That's definitely a plus!!!

We finished our China 20 days tour in Shanghai and it was perfect. Shanghai is a city has everything; from a "modern" China Town with traditional garden to French quarter like back in Europe; the breathtaking Pudong skyline opposites the Bund; endless shops along Nanjin Road and the biggest Starbucks in the world! This was our first arrival city into China. Valerie, our guide from Travel China Guide, was there to greet us. Over the 2 days we saw the world financial center, the urban planning hall, Yu Gardens (really beautiful!) and tianzifang. Valerie took us to a great restaurant for lunch. We enjoyed all our tours and especially Valerie. She was really funny and had a great knowledge of China! Excellent guide and tour!!
