Juan Carlos and Palmer were so patient and attentive. We had individual attention given to us and stood up on our boards, not once, not twice but many times! These guys are very family friendly.
Wonderful surf school. Isabella and Carlos were both super helpful getting me set up, organising a taxi for me from Coco and making me feel super welcomed as a solo traveller. My teacher, Steven, was hilarious, instructive and made me feel calm and safe. I learnt more from him than I have in a decade of surfing. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Tamarindo. Thank you LA MUDDAAAAA

Hands down, this is the place you’re looking for! Easy to schedule, super knowledgeable instructors, and great value for your money 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽 I recommend you ask for Palmer. He was my instructor on the first day and I loved my lessons with him so much I went back for two more lessons with him. He’ll make you feel confident and you’ll progress quickly, which is SO fun!! Great experience. They were easy to find and we both got up and rode the waves. They knew just which area of the beach would have the best waves for beginners and more experienced surfers. If we come back, we will use them again. The instruction and knowledge of the beach was excellent. Avoid buying smoothies on the beach though, one smoothie and two bottles of water was $50 US. The area does price gouge tourists on food, etc. a travel size stick of deodorant was $10 US.

I went with my sister (22 and 20) and had a great experience! We were both beginners but the instructors were very helpful and we caught many waves. Highly recommend!
Got up first time and every time after! My husband also was successful in getting a few waves - highly recommend this crew to teach you to surf like a pro!
We were using another surf company on the same beach as this one. Our experience with our surf company was incredible! Unfortunately, while we were on the beach, one of the instructors at this company was extremely rude to us! If he had been our instructor, we would have left and found another company to use!
Great experience. All five people in our group were able to stand-up by the end with most of us able to stand up and ride several waves over the lesson. Would definitely recommend.
