Tijdens deze privétour rijdt u een kameel naar de duinen van Douz en wandelt u naar de top van de duin voor een panoramisch uitzicht over de woestijn. A 5 star experience with Saharansky, a proven, trustworthy and most accommodating travel supplier. From booking and other customer services through the end of the journey, Saharansky made things easy. My journey was a camel trek from Douz in July. and was total fun. Because of the danger of high temperatures, 47C, the company custom-tailored a trek for me which included everything I wanted -- exploring and sleeping in the desert, enjoying the sunset and sunrise, good food and fellowship at the desert camp, and a 2-hour early-morning camel trek back to the departure point outside of Douz, led by a friendly, experienced camel driver. I was enchanted and am already planning to return with friends to enjoy a longer trek at a less hot time of year. I highly recommend Saharansky, and I also highly recommend a camel trek from Douz.

Nice tour into the Sahara! However very expensive for what it was. You start the ride on the edge of the town and to start with you are walking through a lot of rubbish. Once you get further out it is a very nice experience especially with the sunset. Be aware they will try to get you to pay for additional things along the trip such as a 30 second horse ride.

However, I apologize for the inconveniences that you experienced during your tour with us, please keep in mind that our staff never try to sell anything, instead, the people you met during your sunset trek are not part of our staff. As for the start of the ride we always try to bring the camels to the guests hotel to have the pickup and dropoff from the hotel in a way to enjoy the ride from palm groves to sahara dunes. The Tunisians from Douzz who accompanied us on this one hour walk were adorable, they explained their way of life, the breeding of the camel, they took our picture It's always nice to meet nice and respectful people

An amazing experience with a really good price. A taxi shuttle came for us to Hotel Mars 20, and then we were riding in the Sahara for 2 hours.
