Het enige dat een dag doorgebracht in Savannah beter zou kunnen maken, is om het af te sluiten op het water met een adembenemende zonsondergang omringd door de natuurlijke schoonheid van de Lowcountry waterwegen! Sluit je aan bij de kapitein en de bemanning aan boord van de River Explorer terwijl ze River Street verlaten op zoek naar de lokale Atlantische tuimelaars! Tijdens deze tour leer je de geschiedenis van Savannah en de omliggende waterwegen kennen door je kapitein en eerste stuurman. Deze tour behandelt alle aspecten van ons Lowcountry-ecosysteem en wordt afgesloten met een schilderachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang van Savannah terwijl we de rivier op naar de haven. Terwijl we naar buiten gaan om de dolfijnen te zien, varen we langs het beroemde Waving Girl-standbeeld uit het water voor een geweldige fotomoment.
Afhankelijk van onze route varen we onder of weg van de Talmadge Memorial Bridge, de toegangspoort tot de haven van Savannah.

- Het River Explorer-schip heeft een paar treden naar boven om aan boord te gaan. Dit is de reden waarom we niet rolstoeltoegankelijk zijn, samen met de kasseien die u op River Street naar de kade moet oversteken.

Nice mellow sail we were warned we may see some dolphins and may not. But the captain and first mate told us a lot about the area birds plants trees marsh area. We did see dolphins. We also were told how the river was made s Deeper to allow bigger ships thru and we were shown fossils
Great music and informative about the Savannah area.
Highly recommend! I did this experience two weeks in a row with friends visiting from out of town. The crew is funny and very knowledgeable and we saw dolphins both nights. I learned a lot about the river and the industry along it. AND…the sunsets were breathtaking both nights. Book this tour! You won’t regret it!

This was an amazing experience. I took my daughter for her 17th birthday celebration and it was nothing short of Amazing. We learned some interesting information about the waters of the port canal, the ecosystem, and much more from the captain and vessel mates. The music was some great classics from arid Stewart and Toto. We loved every second of it. The Sun on the water, the beautiful sky during sunset despite the clouds, and so much more. We are definitely going to recommend and set sail again with more family.
Very relaxing and brought me tranquility just looking out at the dolphins and other wildlife and watching the sunset definitely recommend for anyone that appreciates nature and a relaxing boat ride while your tour guide educates you about the dolphins and other fun facts.
My 15 year old daughter and I had a great time. No sunset because of clouds, but we saw alot of dolphins and some other wildlife. Connor and Tanner we great. Knowledgeable funny and great energy.
