Stutthof Concentratiekamp privétour
Beschrijving
Je tour begint als je Engelssprekende chauffeur je ophaalt bij je hotel in een comfortabele minibus. Vanaf hier vertrek je naar het concentratiekamp Stutthof, waar je je rondleiding begint. Je begint met een bezoek aan de oude en nieuwe kampkwartieren, voordat je verder gaat om de villa van de commandant te bekijken. Je gaat dan naar de gaskamers en het crematorium, terwijl je angstaanjagende verhalen over massamoord van je gids hoort. U kunt later uw respect betuigen bij het monument van de kampslachtoffers, voordat u meer te weten komt over de vervolging en bezetting van Pommeren. Later ontdek je het eerste nazi-concentratiekamp buiten Duits grondgebied. Na uw bezoek wordt u naar Sztutowo gebracht, waar het voormalige kamp was en waar nu het Stutthof-museum is gevestigd. Eenmaal in het museum bezoek je ongeveer 2 uur met een Engelssprekende museumgids.

Minibus pick up was great , guide was very informative, once at the camp which was very well maintained and eye opening , however we felt we did not have a lot of time to read all the information boards which were in English and then the guide would give us time in rooms with no English boards. We did not have any free time after the tour and did feel rushed , however we did have good day.

I recommend Mr. Shuttle on a trip to Stutthof. We were picked up by Simon and Anna was our camp guide. I got a text day before the trip with information about where and what time we'd be picked up, it all stood. Anna knows the story very well and led us with great respect through the camp on a private tour. Simon and Anna talk good English and we had a good conversation during the trip. First our driver Simon was amazing sharing his experiences growing up in Poland and telling us all about his own family! Taking us to Old Town Gdańsk before we went back to our ship. Our guide Marek Barski Aka: Markus Shwarzbart He is the perfect guide for this tour! His grandfather was a prisoner at this camp for the 6 years it was in operation. He was able to survive because of his incredible carpenter skills. Absolutely fantastic tour all around!!! I can’t say enough about Simon & Marek
