Plaza met restaurants en buitenbars, straatmuzikanten, verkopers en een sculptuur gemaakt door Botero
Het raamwerk van de Plaza de San Pedro Claver bestaat uit de kerk met dezelfde naam en een rij restaurants, juweliers en winkels waar handwerk wordt verkocht. Op deze plaats het standbeeld dat de kunstenaar Enrique Grau maakte van San Pedro Claver (de jezuïet-missionaris die ‘slaaf van de slaven’ werd genoemd) en dat contrasteert met de avant-gardistische werken gemaakt met schroot van Edgardo Carmona.

Gelegen in de wijk San Diego in het historische centrum, is San Diego Square een rustplaats waar mensen kunnen eten en drinken op een van de weinige terrassen
La Puerta del Reloj, Torre del Reloj of Boca del Puente is de hoofdingang van de stad van het historische centrum van Cartagena de Indias, in Colombia en de oorspronkelijke ingang van de vestingstad
In de Plaza de los Coches vinden we de beroemde Portal de los Dulces met zijn grote verscheidenheid aan snoepjes.

We did not have an experience with Julie, we had Cielo as our guide. She was on time for our hotel pickup, energetic, FUN, and knowledgeable. She found options that were great for vegetarians and the meat eaters in our group. I highly recommend this tour. I think it's a great way to start your trip in Colombia!

Julie was so friendly and informative. She was well versed on local cuisine and preparations. She recognized when we needed to cool down with some bebidas and fruit as it was a warm day! This was our first time in Cartagena and the food tour Julie provided not only opened us to the delicious local eats, but also the history around so many of the dishes. She was incredibly knowledgeable, hospitable, and energetic throughout the entirety of the trip. The tour was private and allowed us to ask more questions and have very nice conversations around food and culture. I highly recommend a food tour with her if you plan on visiting Cartagena. We absolutely adored her!!

Julie is an amazing tour guide. The tasting tour was the highlight of our visit to Cartagena. From fresh fruit to local street food, the day was filled with flavors we would not have otherwise tried as well as music and the ambiance of the city. The private tour was well-priced and worth every cent paid. Julie is friendly, knowledgeable and a delightful guide with excellent English!

Julie couldn’t make it so she sent Juan. I don’t know how good Julie would have been but we sure know that Juan was terrific. We had a wonderful time, tried some delicious food and saw a good bit of the historic center of Cartagena. In short, both my wife and I highly recommend this tour
