Na een comfortabele pick-up van uw centraal gelegen hotel in Delhi, bij voorkeur in de buurt van "Rajiv Chowk" in het centrum van Delhi, en begin met het ontdekken van het straatvoedsel van de Indiase hoofdstad. Voeg een van de vele drukte van de lokale bevolking samen in het bruisende oude Delhi en hoor over de smaken en tradities van de snacks en de geschiedenis van de ommuurde stad. Laat je anker vallen bij verschillende kraampjes om lokale nietjes te proberen: het voedsel dat je gaat eten, snacks en drankjes, dus kom met een lege maag! Proef populaire lokale snacks zoals met suiker stroop gedrenkte "jalebis", Indiase taart bekend als "Samosa", chole chawal (een traditionele rijstkerrie) en geniet van lokale rijstpudding en brood-en-boterpudding. My goodness me what a feast and delight! We’d only been in India for 24 hours when our holiday licked off with this tour, we had travelled with trail finders who had added this event to our itinerary. Virat was our tour guide for the evening. We didn’t know what we’d paid as was included in our overall cost but looking at this on TA think was worth every penny. Go hungry and embrace the culture of a truly magnificent city. Bring picky a few too many stops and perhaps for me personally I’d have opted for more savoury option. Virat was so well informed and enthusiastic it was a pleasure to be guided by him and only hope my never ending stream of questions hasn’t put him of the Brits!!

Great experience. Jai showed me Delhi's market and all its secrets while tasting different kind of food. He was very kind and explained me a lot about the Indian culture along the way. If you have some spare hours to spend in Delhi, this is definitely an experience to take!

Be a local while you explore Old Delhi, travel with a range of public transportation comfortable with the guide. We used Uber, Tuk-tuk and rickshaw too!
