We booked the Exquisito Street Food, Market and Old Eateries Tour while visiting Lima, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We’ve done food tours all over the world, so our expectations were high, but Valeria absolutely delivered. All seven stops were excellent. Nothing felt repetitive or like filler, and every tasting added something new to our understanding of Peruvian cuisine. Beyond the food itself, Valeria provided fantastic historical and cultural context that made the experience feel much deeper than a typical tasting tour. We loved the experience. Very good explanations from the guide Marcos, both the historical-cultural explanations and the gastronomic ones. The selection of dishes was very well chosen to get to know authentic Limean and Peruvian gastronomy. Tip: don't eat a big breakfast beforehand! Absolutely recommended.
