Ontmoet je gids bij uitgang 5 van Hoehyeon Station, waar ons culinaire avontuur begint en sluit je aan bij onze groepsreis voor een heerlijke verkenning van het eten en erfgoed van Seoul! Geniet van een proeverijavontuur terwijl we een breed scala aan Koreaanse straatvoedsellekkernijen proeven op de Namdaemun-markt. Van geruststellende Kalguksu en de bevredigende crunch van Mandu tot pittige Tteokbokki en zoete Hotteok, onze tour door de bruisende markt zal je smaakpapillen verrassen. Mis de klassieke favorieten zoals Gimbap en andere hartige lekkernijen niet, die om elke hoek ontdekt worden. Namdaemun Market is de grootste traditionele markt van Seoul, met meer dan 10.000 verkopers. Je proeft dus het meest populaire marktvoedsel waar de lokale kooplieden dol op zijn, zoals Kalguksu (met een mes gesneden noedel), Wang Mandu (een enorme knoedel), Hotteok (gefrituurd deeg gevuld met bruine suiker), Gimbab (broodje rijst-zeewier), Tteokbokki (pikante rijstwafel) ect.

EJ was a friendly knowledgeable guide who spoke excellent English. She was able to accommodate the fact that one of the group didn't eat meat and another didn't eat fish. This didn't detract from the fun experience at all. Top tip: come hungry - there's a lot to try in 90 minutes!!
Thanks to our guide Kay! He introduced us to the specialties of Korea and led us to places we would never have alone. Delicious food and a great, very sympathetic guide who took many photos of us, what more could you want.
Tour guide never showed up. The company wouldn’t answer my messages on the Viator App until I got Viator Support to reach out to the company on my behalf. There was no telephone or WhatsApp number to call them. Once they finally responded they claimed they got the day mixed up. I was already at the station with another person who was also waiting to start the tour.

We had a great time on this tour & I highly recommend. Our lovely Guide answered all my daft questions and showed us places we would never have found. We ate a lot of food! The mandu ( dumpling) place was a particular highlight.
The food tour was well worth it. Our guide was excellent and we then knew what to eat for our remaining time in Seoul. Would definitely recommend.
Great trip, with some excellent food and the guides were brilliant. All of the stalls we visited provided great food and accomodated the two vegetarians in our family with no problems. Overall, would thorougly recommend.
