Een unieke activiteit voor mensen die geïnteresseerd zijn in graffiti, muurschilderingen, fotografie en wisselende tentoonstellingen op ongewone en onbekende plekken. Madrid heeft een coole stedelijke kunstscene. Reis terug in de tijd met Cooltourspain naar het begin van de graffitibeweging en leer hoe deze zich begon te ontwikkelen. Je begint je tour met een uitleg over de geschiedenis, technieken en artiesten die tot deze ondergrondse beweging behoren. Geniet van een bezoek aan de muren van La Tabacalera, een van de beroemdste pakhuizen in Madrid. De tour neemt je mee door de wijk Lavapiés, een van de meest multiculturele buurten van de stad. Je zult het ontdekken door zijn politieke en sociale straatkunst. Er worden verschillende graffitifestivals bezocht, zoals CALLE Lavapies, Muros Tabacalera of Urvanity-kunst, met kunstwerken van Okudart, Ben Eine, Blu of El Rey de la Ruina. Verzamelen om 11.15 uur bij de ingang van Teatro Valle Inclan (Calle de Valencia, 1). Het dichtstbijzijnde metrostation is Lavapies

We had a wonderful street art tour with Yago in Lavapies, learning much about the unique history and value to the community. Because we were there during the street art festival, we were able to see several artists working on their murals and talk to them about their technique and the meaning behind their art. What joy the art brings to the neighborhood!

Prior to this tour, I knew nothing about street art. Our guide Yago was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the street art. It is impossible to not develop an appreciation for the art form. We learned a lot within a short span of time and about Madrid itself. After walking around the neighborhood, we spray painted tote bags as mementos. Gracias Yago por ser un excelente guia!
